Yeah I just felt like pointing out how douchey the pens were when they started being douchey. Then they got even douchier and I couldn't stop. Thanks for the hospitality though. And the 2 points - datswho
Says a douche being douchey. pens were bad. Now (frank) off.

penguins obviously didnt have it today. but i still take something good out of this.
Net Front Presence. Penguins were all over the net. Hornqvist especially. When was the last time a penguins team from the last 5 years was in front of the net like this?
fantastic additions of Perron and Hornqvist have made this team a team that can compete in the playoffs. |

Pens acted like children today. Refs didn't give them 5 goals. I already said I thought zidlicky should have been called for int - TheCaptain19
Funny, HCMB railed the refs and then all of a sudden Detroit had everything go their way to the point that the game was no longer in doubt...tell me the last time you saw sooo many 10 minutes handed out without any fights? Tell me the last time you saw a team get 54 penalty minutes to 6 after two periods of hockey....to say the refs didn't have an impact in this game is just stupid. |

Hockey should never be played in the morning anyways. You guys are a better team than you showed today, hopefully Hornqvist doesn't have a bad injury. |

So you think it's a good goal by technicality. You know if there are multiple reasons a goal isn't good they don't need to list them all. Just 1 reason makes it a no goal - TheCaptain19
I do agree with that. I just wish they wouldn't announce the wrong one and look stupid/make me more angry. |

Hey wings fans where do you get those nice hoses that connect your anus directly to your nose? I know they don't sell them where you get your glove glue. |

I have a feeling he will be a scratch next game, and he should be. When he plays like that, he is worthless to the team. |

Like what he wants to be there and win? Is it really his fault that when other players would get a warning he gets a 2 and 10? |

Just got back from Spring Break where I didn't have any internet to watch the games. Besides this disaster of a weekend which I have obviously been able to catch onto just by looking at scores and injury reports, just wanted to catch up on a few things:
How's my boy Ian Cole doing? To a lesser extent, how's Lovejoy looking? Does the Despres trade look crappy or decent at this point in time?
How bad does the Malkin injury look?
How's the Winnik-Sutter-Bennett line looking? |

ok, settle Pens fans.
a) "Legal Interference" that the Wings do, is just that... LEGAL. They been doing it for 20yrs and every can and most do it.... Do you really think this many officials? team GMs? would just let it go if it were illegal? but instead most GMs say they are the model franchise... can you explain this to me?
b) It is VERY hard to argue that the Wings get any benefit of the doubt, when they played over 50% of their games in other time zones for 20yrs when Pens can basically take busses to all of their games... and boast the NHL's Golden Child who doent go r All-Star games.
c) For as long as I remember, the Pens were never a defensive stallworth of a team. Lemieux era or Crosby era. CAN ANY Pens on here make a case of them being, at least theoritically a defense minded first club?
d) This was ONE game, after the Wings got thumped -- so naturally, at some point the Wings were going to dig in here... just happened to be today, and you had no Malkin -- Fleury didnt play yesterday, probably not 100% today either. So the Wings took advantage of that... surely be a different game should they be up to their standard.
e) As far as Pens behavior, most of that is thrusted upon the fact that the Wings will not punch, push, or fight back but instead go on special teams for their revenge. Pens are not the first nor the last to lose their patience with that. Also when teams go on like that... throwing lads out for almost nothing is the way the refs control the game... rightly or wrongly, again done this since the dawn of time.
f) both teams had 4 PP today, one was 1/4 the other 0/4 - Detroit's PK went from 1st to 20th recently... so sometimes they show glimpses of being #1 again. AND no Malkin changes things.
g) one game means nothing. I was pissed after yesterday's 7-2 loss to the Flyers and 24hrs later this. relax.
---
Pens were undisciplined and the Wings were focused. Im sure Pens will be better in their next game. |

The penguins sure looked like a bunch of classless punks today with zero composure.
Crosby being his usual little female dog self whining and crying. The icing on the cake was when he was sitting on the bench having a laugh with the ref down 4-0 |

You and Guile just come across as straight up tantrum throwing 6 year olds. Honestly, all hockey aside, reading your comments and Guile's attempt at chirping is like visiting an elementary school. I hope you guys aren't actually adults, because that's (frank)ing sad.
Waitta represent your team like a couple of classless idiots.

no. GMs the summer before.
But the NHL doesnt care about Lidstrom or Datsyuk, near to the level of Crosby. Thanks for agreeing with everything else though. |
