Doesn't whoever is the new coach get the final say on his staff? - JCSabs06
Was wondering about that, especially with nolans future being...um uncertain. |

I doubt it is a coincidence that all these goalies have improved. Lindback has gotten better with every game. He looked like crap when he first got here. Now he looks serviceable. He is super slow from side to side which is sad considering his size |

Damn this guy has just packed it in. I'm assuming no one wants the Sabres to trade for him in the offseason anymore?

Good thing we have sucked almost all year, the Leafs are really tanking. |

They are the epitome of an on ice tank or true tank. When you just don't give effort that is a tank and that should be written about by Canadian journalist, but it's not. It's move along, nothing to see here, how about the Sabres tank? Whatever.. |

They have and the Sabres still battle with who they have left. Thank God the Leafs had wins early on or they would be very close to #30. |

This gem was in Ek's blog today...
Huge changes? I think not. Hasso won't can Wilson & Wilson not willing to ask 19 or 12 to waive nmc's. Logan to Buffalo for Tyler Meyers & Enroth or a pick would be considered huge, but DW will never move the former Ottawa 67. Niemi likely to bolt in the offseason, but the only move DW can make is behind the bench. 8, 44, 48, 57, & 68 going nowhere & that leaves nothing to qualify as huge.

Buffalo Sabres head coach Ted Nolan could be replaced this summer, but he’s not worried about his long-term future.
Poor Ted Nolan, he can’t seem to stick with one NHL team for long. It’ll be a pity if he’s fired again by the Sabres. It’s not his fault management gave him such a crappy roster to work with. Scotty Bowman at his best couldn’t turn this year’s Sabres into a playoff contender…

And Lehner isn't.
I liked the kid, but he's had two kinda rough years in a row.
Wonder if he can bounce back and if TM could get him on the cheap? |
