You are 100% right. Plain and simple if you don't finish last, murray is a complete failure.lets not talk the kane trade because myers is going to be a superstar. He has done nothing as GM that is earth shattering. If he can't lose on purpose and identify 20 games ago he has to make more changes to assure we do,fire his ass - Buffalo39
This team is atrocious with the exception of the goaltending. Who the hell thought Lindback would play this well, he couldn't save 10 pucks a night in Dallas. I have no idea what kind of GM Murray is or will be but to say he didn't field a terrible team is just not true. |

Well I don't know what to tell you then.
Jump off a bridge, I guess.
Aren't you the one with all the sources? And you're spewing around like this? - grand-magus
Yes and I am telling you murray has Pegula all in on the tank. Everyone in the front office agreed from last year to tank. They celebrate when they lose. They have a coach in place that the Gm can't tell him who to play. How do you not fire him and very easily can be said ,I didn't hire him,we need to move into another direction ion. Now nolan is saying Fyou buffalo,I will show you |

I bet we move out of 30th within this next week and then lose almost every game after that re-securing 30th place. But not before everyone questions their faith, buys life insurance and contemplates the pain and chance of survival from jumping off the peace bridge. - Sabresfan-365

And then that gets around the league and no coach worth a salt will come and coach here.

how does one ask players not to play their best?
wouldn't that pretty much go against everything they've ever been taught and spit in the face of being a professional?
management has done what they could by tearing it down.
but they cant control effort, heart and the ineptitude of their competitors |

Your right, the tank would be over and he now coaches mceichel and has and owner that will spend whatever on your contract and any player you want. Sorry this isn't ralph Wilson or Seymour knox

Who gives a sh!t?
Jeezuz Christ.
Now we're going to blame some rumor that he likes a couple pops while he's out on a scouting trip as the reason we might not finish last.

Didn't say you ask players to tank. They should of said we want to look at all players at this level. Makarov and HACKETT should of been playing. Matt ellis, dalpe and daimgo should be playing as much as everyone else |

so strip the roster down even worse? cmon.
outside of that one hot stretch, aren't you guys like historically inept at scoring goals already?
I just think youre attempting to find blame where there really isn't.
jesus, coaches coach to win games. players play to win games.
so youre now going to even bench the few quality nhl'ers that u have in ennis etc?
too far man. beyond management, you've got to at least try and win.
who the eff would ever hire nolan again if they knew he coached to lose?
and what kind of management would ask him to coach to lose?
this isn't reality
and again, murray couldn't have known that the oilers and the yotes who weren't actually trying to tank would be so awful. |

Meh, i find it hard to believe there is something written in his contract like that..
Difference here is that in most situations like this, a coach would be on the same page as management, and find ways to discreetly work together towards the organizational goal. Not nolan, he just rides the hot goalie, tells the media it was irbe who convinced him this afternoon, then lindtank(?) blows that up when he says how he knew he was starting after last nights game. As long as lindback doesnt get shelled or injured i would expect to see him to finish out the season.
If you want us to finish last and arent worried yet, i think you should reconsider just how badly you want 30th. |

These wins hurt, but tonight was so much worse. I expected an easy loss, and we get 2 PTS. looking at our schedule, I honestly see 12 more points without even reaching. Arizona can't score at all, I see maybe 4 PTS in their last 12. Tonight will be the night we look back at and say that it killed our chance for 30th. I feel sick to my stomach. |

I dont think we have killed any chances. There is still alot of hockey to be played and im not panicking.
I just think its naive to sit there and not be worried if you are on board and want last place. We are watching it slip, little by little. Lindback is playing very well, and the young players from rochester are playing hard. Teams underestimate and sleep on us.
Nolan will never say die and pull out all the stops. |

I watch all Arizona games. They are beyond awful right now, intentionally. Nolan is gonna play Lindback every single game. With the way they're playing, they'll not only miss 30th, they'll miss it by 7 points. The coyotes will be lucky to win 2 more games this year. |

There's no way this team wins half of their remaining games. |
