Like I said, I felt the hit deserved 4 because it was a dangerous play and giving that play the same punishment as a "love tap" hooking sets a dangerous precedent. You guys can disagree all you want but if the situation was reversed I certainly would expect you guys to be saying the same thing. Bottom line is Prust ran Bishop, differently than Kreider ran Price but with the same intent. Obviously Price was hurt and Bish wasn't but using injuries to justify whether a play is right or not is extremely hazardous IMO.

Whether people agree about that or not, still it's the norm in the league right now. See the (kinda stupid) rule about drawing blood on a high stick = 4 minutes PP for example.

You could argue that boarding should always be a 4 minutes call whoever the recipient is, but what I don't get his why boarding on a goaltender should get a special rule, while you say at the same time that other kinds of penalties (like the "love-tap hooking") should not.
