It's 100% of the new 90%

It's also about swelling etc. It's the residuals from having surgery that may be the issue more than the reason fr the surgery itself.

Or, maybe he is at one of those points where the injury cannot get worse so he pays through it, even though it hurts all the time.

My guess is if he still had swelling or range of motion issues, he wouldn't be playing.

From my layman's point of view, he's always gong to have some level of discomfort with that cushioning gone between the bones.

The best policy for Flyers players would be to not discuss injury issues with the media. Let Hextall handle that. If a reporter asks how the knee, is, say it's fine.

That's a rough one. I've done that. I'd rather skip the trip and stay at work while the other 7 go, and then go fishing when they return.

Yeah, but then they get into the back and forth about why it's listed on the injury report but the player says they are fine. eventually someone says something. full disclosure would ultimately be easier.

There is obviously some kind of difference of opinion between the goalie camp and the administrative camp.

I am 39 days from lift-off.

Got to be a way to teleconference. We went small this year. Universal, just our immediate family. No arguing about what to do and see, just what we want to do.

I personally don't think there is a difference of opinion, I just think messages get mixed, and then things are blown out of proportion. Which is why I think there should be one messenger.

I would prefer they say all injury questions should be directed to mr. Hextall

A goalie coach is the same as an assistant coach. Really shouldn't be talking to the media about internal team issues.

Sure, and right now they there's a 0% chance they'll have to worry about their goalie coach saying anything at all.

Problem solved!

This is bigger than that.
I made the reservations 7 months ago.
they announce the event 4 weeks ago but I hadn't told them I was really away away, not just sitting around at home for a week.

My wife is a doc with a lot of experience in physical rehab. If he was scoped to remove cartridge from his knee he would absolutely have had range of motion and swelling issues for quite some time after the procedure. "quite some time" varies from person to person. A pro athlete would heal quicker than us hockeybuzzers but he was put into action really soon afterwards and it's legitimate to question that.
He can be 100% recovered but, as he ages he will experience discomfort and range of motion loss. but for now, with proper recovery time and rehab he should be 100%.
