I think you need to be 20 for the ahl no? Either way I don't think he'd be eligible... - Forsberg4Prez
Hanifin can leave college and play in thr ahl. It's CHL players that have the issue. The NHL team may choose to send him to the chl too as a team likely owns his rights. |

I think this is the case. fairly certain
European league kids and American collegiate players can go straight to the A if they don't make the big club.
only Canadian junior has a deal with the nhl forcing kids back. - Ihateallofu
I'm pretty sure that if he was playing high school hockey in the states he wouldn't be eligible but the fact that he's already in the NCAA makes him AHL eligible |

The way Klefbom has been impressing as of late, he might turn out better than both, and that's really saying something about him. I like the idea of Hanifin but with all left shots do we try and trade somebody for a righty, or do we pull a Detroit and dress a whole defense full of lefties? - Ihatebrianburke
I would be absolutely shocked if mact even considered dealing nurse.
and I doubt hed get fair value in an immediate player for hanifins ceiling (which from what ive heard and tend to agree from what ive seen, is incredibly high)
I think mact worries about handedness later.
maybe marincin and a pick goes for something if possible. but I don't see him dealing hanifin for less than a package he probably wouldn't be offered |

i feel like Marincin will go in a deal for a goalie and klefbom, nikitin, nurse, ference will be the left side D - oilerfan94
im fine with some call ups for nurse, but unless he blows our socks off, he should start in the A.
err on the side of caution with him. imo, hes literally the lynchpin for this rebuild.
kind of sad we're that desperate for him to turn out. but it is what it is.
although I will say, klefboms development is really making things seems a little less desperate |

Where do you think St. Louis would be without Pietrangelo? LA without Doughty? |

draisaitl didn't blow anything off with 2P in 6GP in the pre season and was guaranteed a spot so who knows with nurse |

Marincin will be the odd man out in my eyes. If we end up with a bunch of stud lefties that's alright too. I can't see any of Hanifin, Nurse, Klefbom getting traded either. Everyone is just trying to rip us off in deals anyways and nobody is giving us a decent defenseman for a fair package. |

LA wouldn't have won two cups.
st. Louis wouldn't be among the truly elite few every year.
I believe both would still be quality teams, especially st.loo, but not the same.
those guys are the best players on their team imo (an argument could be made for quick I suppose) |

Kopitar?
There are other factors than a number 1 defender but until a team has a guy that can at least pass as one they are (frank)ed right in the corn hole. |

That's because MacT failed at landing a sufficient 2nd line center and we were pretty much forced to play him. I'm excited about his future. Big talented center and him and Yak developed chemistry on and off the ice. |

I don't think its out of the question.
just was kinda saying what I hope happens.
and as I said, even more so than draisaitl imo, im sure mact knows how vital nurses development is to our rebuild. we cant rush him. and mact has followed that ethos by sending him back twice now. this past tryout, a case could be made that he was certainly inside our top 6 most talented defenders. but still got sent back. and rightly so |

Your only argument is trying to say that nursing is strictly a womans job. Which really makes you look like the chump, and the backwards, bigot, and simpleton that you are. Your hockey talk is also just biased, opinionated, narrow minded bullsh1t, and you wouldn't know a logical, objective POV if it jumped up and slapped you in your gimp hand. Both of my hands work so I'll give you the applause you are looking for. - ruttager17

im also a anze fan. beastor two way guy. but doughty is a workhorse for them.
hes more vital to them imo.
but admittedly, im on team franchise defender as the key position in hockey.
some are on team franchise centerman and although I disagree, they've got a solid argument

I share this sentiment but Kopitar is one of my favourite players. Where was Colorado before EJ? Where was Minnesota until Suter? Where was Tampa until Hedman emereged? Until the Oilers have a guy that can lick the sack of one of those guys they will suck monster cock. |

Sorry I hurt your feminine pride. But you are a chump. You have a womans job. You're a ginger. You dont add anything to hockey talk at all. All you ever do on here is throw out petty insults, talk like you're a doctor, which you will never be, and rub dinks with guys on here. You even tried bragging earlier about how cool you are texting a random guy you met on the internet. That, along with your female dogy attitude, and feminine job??? Hmm I wonder what kinda things get put in your orange haired poop shoot??? Maybe I should add a bunch of emoticons now like you to try and make my point look better? |
