if the goal is to tank, call up ellis, thomas, macKenzie, irwin, reid etc
get some scrubs off the waivers to fill the roster at the nhl level
there comes a point, if you call up the kids, you need to put them in a position to thrive, not bury them on the 4th line, 12 minutes a game on D or in the presser
long term, that is not a viable solution IMO
it's like they want to finish 30th, w/o being too obvious at the expense of some of our prospects
just my opinion of course - homiedclown
Do they have any more callups available? I thought starting at the deadline there was a limit of 4 more for the season (minus emergency)

He mentioned that last night after the game. Glad it's official. Thx for the post. |

Good point . Forgot about that. Might have changed with the last CBA. |

I think it did, and they used 3 on deadline day after the trades. I remember a big discussion on WGR about it when Pysk was sent back down. Because he was an emergency, he had to go, and Hamilton stated they only had one true move left. (Which I believe they just used for Grigs) |

Might have to have the CBA experts look into this. With the minimal games left it shouldn't be a problem. Have some players coming back too. |

I remember when Larsson was considered trash. Sometimes you just need to be patient. These players don't all look great at 19-20 - sbroads24
anton lander.
its only been over the past couple months, so I don't wanna get too far ahead of myself, but hes a different player now.
been one of the oilers best over that stretch.
is making our center woes in the middle 6 seems a lot less worrying going forward.
wasn't that long ago that he looked like hed never be able to get in done in the show and was almost released.
time and patience in the ahl can pay off
incidentally, one of those later round picks everybody's been harping on in terms of the oilers scouting as well.... |

He has the best +/-. I like Bagnall too but I guess we'll never see him.

Off topic, but my kitty had a tooth pulled. She has an overbite and looked like a little vampire, now she only has one fang. |
