Drew Stafford is being buoyed by two things: 1. change of scenery, and 2. a contract year. As soon as those factors go away, and by "as soon as" I mean October, we'll all be looking at him as a "who cares" piece in this deal.

He'll round out as a 45-60 point player on a real team. Inconsistently of course. But talent around him will lift him up to his higher totals while on this franchise. We all know what Drew Stafford is. I don't even know why people are talking about him.

But hey Matthew Coller says Myers is barely a 5-6 d-man, so he must be right.

Also his punch people in the face ability is low.

We have Bogo and Kane for Myers and a late first. This argument can last until the end of time. And God willing, it won't. We all know Myers has offensive skill that couldn't be maximized on this team. He isn't tough to play against so we got someone who is. Big (frank)ing deal. Matthew Coller gives his opinions just like the rest of us. He's useful for analytic s because he does the math that we don't feel like doing. Both teams got what they want, why can't we just make like a tree and (frank) off out of this debate.

One of the most under rated moves Murray will ever make is trading for Nick. Don't know if he'd fit the third line or not, I'm no Teddy Nolan (lol) but he's a fantastic bottom piece. We get a few more of those kinda guys on the bottom.. we'll have the most solid 4th line in hockey. Don't think it matters? See Bruins 2011. LA 2012. LA 2014.

It's amazing that players Larsson look competent when they play with players that actually have a skillset. Glad Coach Theo made this discovery. He really should think about applying it to other guys as well.
