mcdavid, domi, duclair is a hell of a trio.
will still have boedker and hanzal, who if can get healthy are two extremely underrated quality guys.
then on the back end, OEL is a young franchise guy. have other young ones that have been marinating like Stone and Gormley.
then the picks from chicago/nyr to use or dangle. - stayinthefnnet
Yeah if they do actually win the draft lottery, they could be in pretty good shape in a couple of years. The stable of prospects they have right now is pretty impressive, and they did a good job getting value for vermette and yandle. |

I know noone will believe me but I always thought dubnyk was a decent tender. I watched him play for canada at the worlds and remarked that he looked solid to me. I think he just got wrecked playing in Edmonton. Good to see he's back - Hextall271
I think he's far from great but to be fair to him when is the last time any goalie had good numbers for that team? |

I know it won't happen. But if we win the lottery, you take mcdavid then who do you trade? Gotta send a centre out for a dman or winger IMO. |

Dubnyk had solid numbers for them. Three straight years of decent save % before last year's mess(.914, .916, .920) |

I'd lean towards Schenn, but I'd see what other teams were offering. I'd be more open to playing Schenn at LW with McDavid and Simmonds than just giving him away |

I take Edmonton and get my hands dirty.
Draft Eichel. Trade Nail for a pick to use on Provorov. Use the Pens pick to trade for a Goalie. Vaselevski maybe. Trade Eberle for a solid D man.
Tampa is just too easy. - hereticpride
This is all quite wishful. Nail for a top 10 pick? TB trading a great goalie prospect for a late first rounder? |

Tampa has Bishop. Nail is still worth a top 10 pick in my eyes... |

yeah. that is true.
like i said, between that factor and the stability in location, it could obviously sway someone depending on where you would rather take over.
but just evaluating the current pile of assets after this years draft should the balls bounce that way, i would go with AZ. |

The idiots running Edmonton couldn't be worse talent evaluators. They don't deserve mcdavid. |

If Lowe still has serious power, then it's an issue. They've been running fantasy drafts. |

Isn't it 15 0 1? That's insane. Anderson's gotta be wondering if he needs to put his house on the market. |

Bishop is a FA after next season I think.
I feel like top 10 in a strong draft is kinda high for Nail. He's been pretty bad |

Mac t is just as bad. They've got to get some people who can draft after the 1st round and flip some of the young talent to address needs before they ruin them with 2 decades of losing. |

That's a tough one. I think I would keep them all for another year to see who progresses the most (if at all).
If one of Coots, B.Schenn, or Laughton can show they can be a dependable 2 way threat at 2C, then I seriously consider moving Giroux. He would bring the best return, while opening up cap space for other pieces. Plus that is one hell of a salary to pay for a 2c.
If none of Coots bschenn or Laughton shows us they can be our 2c, then all are available for trade.
Ideally we would be able to keep them all, move G back to rw where he started his career. Move Voracek to 2RW and have balanced scoring lines |

I get what you're getting at but for the Flyers, no. I'd rather a LW, C or D man in this particular draft class. |
