It sure does. But thats the position they are in. (last) If they were to win out? That would screw everyone from the team to the fans. They gave us NOTHING to cheer for at this point but the 1st overall pick. And as a Sabres fan they should be happy we are still paying attention to them whether to cheer or jeer.

And then it would be players complaining about how no fans show up to support them. I was at the game last night and thought everything was completely harmless. If these guys can't handle fans acting this way then pack your bags, trust me I get paid A LOT less and am treated way worse than Sabres players lol.

This point needs to stop being made immediately. A players salary should not hold any weight in any of this.

Because the market dictates they make x amount of dollars, he should not have any feelings? Is that what you are trying to say.

I wasn't at the game but were sabres fans rooting for big hits, good shots against the sabres or did they just cheer equally for all the goals?

I'd rather have a year or two of this over bottom 10 finishes any day of the week. and I'd definitely rather this than the epic 9th place runs.

THey hardly cheered and for sabres goals the crowd cheered louder. The only time it got loud was when they won in ot. Can't control that feeling. it was a Big big deal to lose

Just the goals. I was there. I will admit I cheered a bit when Arizona scored each time. But I did not get out of my chair. And I cheered when the Sabres scored (except for that Gionta goal).

The farther they slip, the tougher the first round match up. Then again, they're built for the regular season, not the playoffs. I don't have faith in their playoff run.

It could have been worse. Our fans could have boo'ed when we scored but yes I would have been nice if they cheered every goal and kept it tongue and cheek that we are rooting against them.
