Hat, you and I don't agree often, but I agree here. They have become embarrassing. They act like 5 year olds when someone who has a differen't point of view tries to talk.

Same with the Buffalo news folk. It reminds me of when a kid sticks his fingers in his ears and just yells so he cant hear the other point.

Hat, I like you man, you seem like a real dude who says what he feels and doesn't say things for the sake of doing it. But you always seem to have such a high level if dissatisfaction with the Sabres, with the fans and the media because they aren't doing things your may. My point is, what has there really been to be happy with? Its a hockey team that hasn't won a playoff series in 8 years. That's a long time. My life has completely changed twice during that span. Go with the flow, they are making things better.

I just won't and can't root against my hockey team that I have loved since their inception.

I really don't think we are say "rooting" for them to lose. Think it's more the idea of accepting the concept of getting a possible star player as being the only positive of this dismal season. If someone thinks we shouldn't think that way? it's to late in this season to change it. It was set upo that way at before TM came on board. This should be the so called last season of suffering . Thats what I look forward to. Hope they kick ass next year cause I will be cheering for all of the players.

Agreed. I actually got into a huge argument with my best friend last week after the Boston game. He's acting like what happens with the Sabres actually has an effect on his every day life. I keep telling him to stop taking it all so personally.

I refuse to even go to a game with him at this point. He dragged me out of the Vancouver game in February because they were winning with 8 minutes left and felt the need to yell at me the entire walk out of the arena and back to the car like it was my fault they were winning.

Less than a handful of games left. We are out of the playoff race by a long shot. The only good that will come out of this season is finishing last and People are against this??? Seriously?!?! A few months ago I was on board with the boys trying, when we went on a winning streak & had a chance to turn the season around. At this point people are being ridiculous if they want the statistically worst team in the league to win a few games for the Integrity's sake. I just can't see the logic behind it.

I think most figured we'd have 30th place all wrapped up by this point of the season. The fact that there's another team as close as they are is why the arguments keep getting more and more intense. If you look at the overal stats for the season, there's no reason why we shouldn't have 30th place with a giant bow on it already.

Yeah at this point there should be consensus about how sabres fans want the season to finish out. Very bizarre.

I was in college too, but I followed. Social media wasn't quite the juggernaut it is today, so I doubt there was as much publicized talk about it. Also, Crosby came in out of the lockout where the lottery odds were different based on a complete fix and a hockey legend whining.

Mine may be available. I was supposed to go but leave for Cancun that day. My friend may not want to go. He said if we have 30th locked up he will, but who knows. I could always talk to him about if if you're really that interested.

Just wish there was away to track all the anti-tankers and forever ban them from buying McEichel jerseys. Giving the tankers a hard time all year and not seeing the big picture should have some repercussions. The fans who supported this all along should have rallied together and formed a group and given first opportunity for playoff tickets for the next decade when the team is ready to compete.
