I loved Nashville. It was a good time. The game was great, and I thought the fans were damn good. - ImThatGuy
Friendliest hockey games I've ever been to. |

True. I've seen Erie twice. Once here at FNC at I was just down in Erie last weekend for their last home game of the regular season. I haven't seen BU play, but did see the Prospects game at the FNC at the beginning of the year and watched as much of the World Jrs as I could. - HonkFortheGoose
The main thing here is that you know how if you wanted to see them. Most people have know clue. Id bet if you asked every fan last night where Eichel goes to school 80% wouldnt |

Because as always Nolan doesn't care about real results he only cares about effort.
Weber works his ass off. But on the play he was called for the penalty, they could have called any of two or three different violations.
Just as troubling to me is the no-look pass from Doan that led to Gionta's goal. And the stupid penalty from the Yotes with 5 minutes left. Those are deserving of way more attention from the media, in my view, than Weber's comments. - Der Kaiser

I'll admit, I sometimes can't remember if it's BC or BU. I think that mostly comes from the fact that when I read about the progression of his career, he said he always wanted to play for BC, but then at the last minute pretty much, he changed and picked BU because of the coach I guess. So it always messes me up. |

humm so like Philips Arena was for that short Atlanta period? - hubie
I've always known Atlanta to be a "transfer" city. A lot of people that live in Atlanta come from all over the US. In my experience with hockey there (Atlanta is easily the best city for hockey in terms of talent, money, icetime in the SE district) a lot of people involved in Atlanta come from other places where hockey was big. Their parents have money and work in one of the many businesses that have Atlanta on the rise as the "business capital" of the US.
I didnt quite get that vibe in Atlanta as I did in Nashville. Although I have to say the difference between NSH and ATL was that NSH actually fills up the arena... |

Andrew peters is embarresed guys, oh no. If anything is embarrassing it's the hockey hotline. So apparently what the organization is doing is a black eye on the franchise.i don't see it that way, we had many players with expiring contracts that openly said they didn't wanna be here anymore. How is that the managements fault, half of our players have been pampered by pegula. We needed a change in culture anyways our teams for years was way too soft.
If anything this is a blessing for some players. The fact that we do suck has given players opportunities to play in the nhl that they might not have ever gotten. So Andrew peters can shut his mouth the guy should feel fortunate that the organization that he's so embarrassed of is giving him a job. Wtf does he know anyways, he acts like his opinion is straight from the hockey gods. The guy was a no talent goon that somehow got drafted in the first round. Go see if the New Jersey Devils will employ you if your so embarrassed Andrew. - Carubba-Kaleta
Andrew Peters is embarrassing. He needs to be kicked off that show after the way he treated that caller today. He was so bad Kevin Sylvester couldn't shut him up and had to quickly go to break to do it. He was nothing but a fringe lower than 4th liner. At the beginning of the season he said they should pay MFE 5M to reach the floor. That whole show is an embarrassment.

The Nashville experience outside the arena is what makes it a fun environment.. And I think next year they are finally going to let us drink outside of the bars..
Like New Orleans. - jochfr
Yes, outside the arena, I loved Nashville. The city is very clean, the people are friendly and the bars are fun. The only thing I dislike about southern girls is their accent. Other than that, they are superior compared to girls here in the north, IMO of course. |

I think it's worse that people sell their season tickets to Leafs, Habs, or any other teams fans than what happened last night. What fan would 'sell out' their team just to make a few bucks? |

The accent is rough... It grows on you, like a rash.
Although I am getting sick of it again. |

I recall it being Leafs home games at HSBC even when the Sabres were good. |

Excellent observation and comment. It's ridiculous how no one is paying any attention to this obvious tank.
I hate to say it, but with Toronto doing what they've done my fears have grown exponentially over the last month. I fear the NHL is setting it up perfectly for the Laffs to get McDavid. Which makes it mission critical the Sabres finish last to get Eichel. - DontBeThatGuy
I had a sudden gut feeling last night that the #5 or 6 spot is going to win the lottery. I think it's been a while since it's been anyone but #1 or 2. It's like a roulette bet "Well, it's been a while since this number hit, so I'm going to bet it." |

I haven't. I've sold tickets to those games, but it's to people I know and not usually for more than what I paid for them in the first place. As a season ticket holder, I look to unload a few each year just because going to that many games is a huge commitment and makes it difficult to do anything else.
I split mine with 4 other people, so I get tickets to 20 games a year. I then look to sell 3-5 or so. It puts a little money back in my pocket and keeps me from having to make the trek down there that many times. |

If the person who's name they're in decides they don't want them anymore you can do that, just in case you didn't know. The ones I have used to be in a different guys name and when he couldn't do them anymore we transferred them to one of the others. |

Time for me to take another month+ hiatus. Eichel is on in 45 minutes on ESPNU. WatchESPN.com for those of you at work with access. |

Thats what im hoping for. But im sure the guys who dropped out this year will want back in and he has no backbone to say no. If you couldnt sit though this season you shouldnt be let back in. We split evenly between 4 of us and it was nice and easy but this year was just two of us. |

Yeah, that's not right. We don't let people do that. If you're part of it and you drop out, you're done. The only exception we've made to that is for a guy that used to do them with us that was in the military. He couldn't do them one year because he was in Afghanistan. When he got back and wanted to do them the following season, we were fine with it. |

Completely understandable to sell to people you. Who could be expected to go to every game, really? I am talking about the ones selling to leaf and has fans. It's just as embarrassing having more leafs fans than sabres fans at a home game. |

I really don't see why that is worth bringing up, or repeating. He's been here a while, longer than many people who listen to the show.

It matters to me when you have people that were not even born a "Buffalonian" pretty much speaking for me on my behalf and the totally embarrassing manner in which they handle themselves on air representing this city.
They don't do this city any favors with their show, especially Simon and his 5 year old temper tantrums that he throws on air. I hate (and hate for me is very strong word) but I hate the fact that those 2 people represent my city on the air.
That said, I do see the point on what does it has to do with them being born here.
Born and raised guys can sound just as ridiculous as them two.
