Exactly. If we lose in regulation on Monday, in essence it is a 5 pt game, since we would be locked in with the tiebreaker in our favor as well.

Just lose the next 3 in regulation !! Then the last 4 games are meaningless.

As I mentioned above, if we were to "Lose" our "Tie-Breaker" edge, it would automatically follow that we had garnered TOO many wins/pts thus there making the entire process of "Tie-Breakers" mute, as we couldn't be tied in pts.

I actually had a dream last night the Isles missed the playoffs on the last day of the regular season. We finished last, the Isles' pick won the lottery, and we got McDavid AND Eichel. How's that for the door closing?

After that dream I also dreamt I was a piece of toast and threw myself over the Peace Bridge. Go figure.

they just aren't good enough. no matter how much they want it. We will lose and finish this 30th place rather quickly

I agree, but there have been too many times this season when our (frank)tard of a coach openly talks sh!t on some of the young guys in interviews, let alone the fact that they absolutely refused to call up our better prospects in place of injured players so as to keep them from a "losing environment" only to have Rochester be out of the playoff picture pretty much by the end of November. I don't care about Gorges' feelings or having "veteran presence", Pysyk, Grigorenko, Larsson should have all been up here to start the year. I'd argue they have even less wins and you get more NHL experience out of them. But what do I know.

I also think they need to slap the C on Girgensons next year and demote that bum Brian Goateeonta to unemployed.

You always have a "Bad Feeling" about every game......

Should be a struggle for both clubs, really is a flip of the coin, the Yotes play and Smith has been Unreal good....but we'll just have to wait and see.....I just wanted to go into the game with the 6pt difference, that's why I was so psyched about last nights loss! HUGE! If we had won in reg, we would enter the Yotes game with a chance to Win and be 2pts back. YUCK....but now we at worst leave the game back 4pts.
