I think the Great Hockey Buzz Crash of 2015 has ended. Its funny how this crash has coincided with the large numbers of Rangers fans assembled on the various ledges and bridges in and around NYC...

I guess this means Hunwick has recovered from his upper body injury....which I now think was a polite way of benching him and wanting to see what Summers had...

I go away for a weekend for a soccer tourney, and all hell breaks loose. Can't you guys hold down the fort in my absence? Jeez ...

I was waiting all weekend for insight on your Michigan boy Summers...it never came, it just never came

Must be that wonderful social media thing. All the Rangers fans I know personally are pretty calm. Except for the PP.

If I become president social medial will be completely banned except for 2 reasons, sports updates and porn.

OMG, Twitter was on fire last night. I am actually starting to feel bad for Tanner Glass and the Corsi-Zealot Girardi haters were out there too which boggles my mind...

I tweeted to Carp aside form being a Rangers fan and just wanting them to win the cup, I also want them to win it so we can collectively flip the bird to the stats people....

I will say one thing.

I don't believe booing Keith Yandle will help at all with him getting his game going.

I'm not sure booing anyone helps anybody ever...especially someone who just got here.

He had a bad game, it happens...we move on. Some people just won't be happy unless they go 82-0 and don't give up a goal all season

So now the Rangers suck, Yandle sucks, Talbot sucks and so does Hank for that matter, McDonagh is a bum, the Rangers are soft, heck, even Ovechkin thinks so (someone needs to remind him the Rangers routinely shut him down but whatever), AV has become Bryan Trottier the coach (talk about killing the Rangers on the ice and behind the bench), Rangers will lose the division, finsh in 3rd, get swept by the Islanders....

Its about as accurate as I can summarize the reaction to this Rangers 2 game losing streak on social media. The fact that 2 games in a row is considered a slump is quite amazing in its own right.

He had a rough weekend but he was hardly the only one. Rangers fans will boo him if he has another bad game at home; it's just something they can't help doing. I think he will bounce back but like I said earlier he is far from the only one that had a terrible weekend.

The Rangers need to nip this in the bud this week, hopefully Tuesday. If they don't, the division race could get interesting and the Penguins have a cake schedule the rest of the way.

I wonder how many of the other 29 teams had at least a 2 game losing streak between the Rangers last one in late January and this past weekend. The Rangers haven't lost 3 in a row since their 2nd, 3rd and 4th games of the season. Which is even more remarkable.

I forget who mentioned it the other day, but I think they were spot on. Its a lot of these idiot younger fans(not all) some great younger fans on this board. They never had to deal with the pre lockout Rangers. They don't appreciate how well the Rangers have actually been since they didnt see the bad times.

Its kind of like how I really appreciate an I-Pad, because when I was younger it was called an etch-a-sketch. You know what I'm talkin about Sil

I couldn't draw a straight line with that thing. Its like these Yankee fans were born in 1989 and were 7 in 1996. They are now getting a dose of "Oh this is what the other baseball teams have to deal with every year".

I am not worried at all to be honest, the Rangers will turn it on come playoff time.

I'm nervous about the playoffs only because lots of great teams get eliminated in them early every year. It takes luck to go even into the 2nd round and the Rangers have gotten it the last 3 years. Hopefully we're not due for some bad luck

Yep luck is a big part of it. But I think the Rangers can create their own luck if they play their game. They can be dominant at times.
