So now the Rangers suck, Yandle sucks, Talbot sucks and so does Hank for that matter, McDonagh is a bum, the Rangers are soft, heck, even Ovechkin thinks so (someone needs to remind him the Rangers routinely shut him down but whatever), AV has become Bryan Trottier the coach (talk about killing the Rangers on the ice and behind the bench), Rangers will lose the division, finsh in 3rd, get swept by the Islanders....

Its about as accurate as I can summarize the reaction to this Rangers 2 game losing streak on social media. The fact that 2 games in a row is considered a slump is quite amazing in its own right.

Me neither. When the playoffs start, all bets are off, I will consider anything short of the ECF a fail. I think expecting 2 straight trips to the final is a little too much, its hard to do. I see no reason however not to expect this team to play to get in to another final.

Thats just the way it is, this team is built to make deep playoff runs, now go make another one.

This is what I don't get about ranger fans. Last year we make a SCF ...2 years prior we make an ECF...we have made the playoffs 9 out of 10 years...have played the 2nd most playoff games of any team in the last 5 years...we clinch a playoff spot earlier then anyone this year and earliest for the team in a long time...

...we lose two games in a row (granted they played lousy) and were suppose to forgot all that? Not to mention the fact that down 3-1 last year to pittsburgh every single fan gave up (me included) and they still came back to win that series. (Games 3 and 4 of that series were probably the worst 2 game stretch they played the whole time I'm referring to) That at least has to give 99.9% of fans a smidge of confidence at the very least. Which is apparently out the door at the moment because Yandle gives the puck away occasionally lol. I just don't get the mindset of the majority of Rangers fans...I try to laugh it off and it seems to work haha

Thats why I stay on here TJ, seems the most level headed place around. Only thing I will say is sometimes justified criticism of the team gets taken out of context occasionally on here.

IMO, Hayes has been our best center for a while now. Yes, he has good chemistry with Hags, but I think its time to give him some serious linemates. Pair him up with 2 of top 4 wingers and give the kid 1st line minutes already. He has 3-4 grade A chances every game and thats playing on the 3rd...

What cracks me up is now they will win in minnisota and Winnipeg and all these Debbie downers will be fully on board that we can't lose the cup now...well until we lose to jersey The cycle never stops, especially this year
