Rangers do anything on the power play and the outlook completely changes.

The PP will be our downfall, if this is it I have less confidence we can win a Cup, it's not even sputtering it's fuking dead as a door knob

Are the refs trying to make up for the last 3 games?

They know our PP sucks, embarrassing would imply it has life, this thing is dead weight, just lose the game, you don't deserve 2 points

I really believe AV should just use the best two lines of that game for the PP

Wow Kenny Albert just said that Ovechkin has 22 PPGs, Rangers as a team have 35. . That guy is money.

Honestly think our PP sucks because it doesn't utilize our best advantage of speed. This team is great in transition cuz they beat the other team to scoring areas.
On the PP they focus too much on setting up in the zone which slows them down.

The power play is just a failure at this point. Accept it and move on I guess.

It's why Kreider leads the team in powerplay goals. All of his goals are on the rush down the wing

I bet good money that if he were a Ranger he'd have less than 10

Why does a team that skates non stop the entire decide to stop moving during a PP? How does the coaching staff not come up with a solution?

Not having a coaching solution I agree is bs at this point. Just saying a team with a speed advantage can't exploit it as much while stationed in one zone as opposed to transitioning between zones

The PP is held to the perimeter too much. Last season when our PP was pretty damn good they established shots and took them. They talked about how if there's a shot, you take it because you don't know what will happen (deflection, rebound, lucky bounce, etc.) and it breaks the other teams PK down. Gotta get back to that.

And last year it wasn't even that good, only 18.2% successful, good for 15th in the NHL.

well they already clinched a playoff berth so I wouldn't say they absolutely need them
