There he is. Eh he's playing a little harder recently... I don't see a BO in the near future but who knows. I think he has long term value still. |

Agreed. I don't think he likes Nolan as a coach and it's been very obvious. If I were him, I wouldn't put in any effort either. Nolan buried him on the 4th line. There's no reason he should be there. You can't expect a player to perform when as a coach you're setting them up for failure. |

but I do remember trying to explain how one random sabres fans that his point he was tryign to make was total banana land logic before the Kane trade went down.
It came to Petan apparently will be a fringe NHLer bc he is small at 5'9 and wont succeed, which I pointed out Ennis is 5'9. Somehow it was different, I dunno it was a fun time in the dark corner with Garth |

Way I see it, he deserves to be there. If he's not willing to bust his ass on the top 6, he can rot on the bottom 6. That's how he got there in first place. That being said, he does not have a chance to succeed being on the bottom 6, so he's got a nice big catch-22 stamp on his forehead, unless of course he decides to try harder. Grigorenko was able to do it under Nolan. Can Cody? |

If you're ever in the mood to get really (frank)ing annoyed in a record amount of time, go read the comment section of Garth's blog. You might say "well you can read his blog too to get annoyed" but then I can counter with the fact that almost always, one of the first posters is a power troll. Yesterday some jerk off Florida fan ripped our fanbase. Talk about (frank)ing banana land. |

In the last 5 drafts they have had the 1st overall, 2nd overall, 3rd overall twice, with other 1st round picks being at 19, 23, and 25 (via trades)
Talk about Pot calling the kettle black...at least you guys arent sucking the league dry of their revenue sharing. I like messing with the Panther fans, updating their logo to look quebec french is always a good time to watch them melt down on how they arent relocating |

For every Daigle there's a bunch of Crosby's, Ovi's, Stammers, Tavs, Kane's, so on and so forth. The fans of other teams reek of jealousy and it's time we climb atop the pyramid and piss all over the haters. |

I get why Nolan did it. And he definitely deserved a game or two there, but in general, what difference does it make if he's busting his ass? He's in Nolan's dog house and it seems that for whatever reason, Nolan plans on keeping him there no matter what. I think it's hard to compare him and Grigorenko because Nolan sees Grigorenko as a kid and Cody as a vet, so Grigorenko gets a bit more of a pass.
We have all seen Cody be a successful player. He's not perfect by any means, but if I knew that no matter how much work I put in it's not going to make a difference with the coach, I'm not out there busting my ass either. |

My general reply to them would be at least we have better attendance numbers. They're lucky if they're drawing the same amount of fans that Rochester draws in the AHL. |

Yeah, I still agree he's not in a position to succeed. But was he doing anything to help himself stay there? He was a lazy wiener and got what he deserved. |

they swarm into other teams blogs sometimes when its about the Fancy Cats.
I think I was ripping on the Jagr trade bc they wont be getting into the playoffs.
They didnt like the comment of, if jagr resigns at least he will get a chance to finish his career in Canada. |

I totally agree with that. But is that truly the situation though? Is Hodgson permanently situated in the bottom six with no chance of redemption? IF that were to be the case, it would stink, literally. It'd reek of agenda and example setting by Nolan, making Hodgson the lazy sacrificial pig. I'd like to see Hodgson move into the top 6 occasionally, but tbh Brian Gionta and of course Tyler Ennis are outperforming him in all aspects of the game. I wasn't able to watch the Colorado game, did Hodgson play 2nd line? |

Yeah, the 2007 version? That was great, but even the older one was pretty awesome too.
And yes, they have it so when you start a new game you can start it with a complete draft of all players. - stashu
