[quote=MJL]Colaiacovo has actually gotten stronger as the season has gone on. He's been playing pretty decent hockey lately, after a slow start.
Clearly a better and wiser choice than cap anchor and maybe the weakest physical flyer d-man i have seen AMac

This is a very telling graphic, and a stat that needs to change. - MBFlyerfan
Mitch Marner's record-setting 216-point 2015-16 season for the Philadelphia Flyers should help.

'tis. I don't have the numbers, but I assumed that trading Coburn bought us some cap space. - jmatchett383
You're probably right. I miss Capgeek. I miss it so much.
My boss probably likes that it's gone though. I seem more productive at work without the cap calculator or Armchair GM functions. |

Couturier problem has been one of usage.
Brayden Schenn's problem has been one of scouting and expectations.
Right or wrong, this franchise is pretty well pot committed to both of them and you might as well let them play out their contracts here and decide later. It's not like this franchise is going anywhere any time soon.
Maybe the upcoming, inevitable coaching change helps them both. |

I'll take whatever penalties 6 games of Hagg over Coliacovo will tack on. - jmatchett383
I wouldn't, I want as much off season cap flexibility as possible. That is far more important then seeing Haag play for 6 games. Waiving Colaiacovo wouldn't help, it's not about cap space for the current season. It's about off season cap space. |

Any chance the flyers can trade Lacavlier without having to give up an asset or eat salary? |

Braydon Schenn had some amazing years in the WHL and had a fantastic WJC. He's almost as good as that guy in the OHL...you know, that dude. |

Berube is likely gone.
No way is this franchise winning the lottery and finding a sucker to take Vinny all in the same summer. That sort of luck is for franchises that threaten to move out of town or are close to insolvent. |

With low expectations it's hard to be disappointed. |
