Almost only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.
Also, were either of those "almosts" a free-and-clear trade? If yes, the opposing GM/GMs should be fired immediately. |

Any chance the flyers can trade Lacavlier without having to give up an asset or eat salary? - flyerscup2011
0.0 chance. I don't even think they can trade him retaining some of his salary.
His goose is cooked and the league knows it. |

Whatever the deal is, I think it's time to move Coliacovo out of the lineup at this point. Whether it's Hagg, Lauridsen, Manning, Alt...it's just time to let him sit down. - jmatchett383
Manning will probably play the last six games with MacDonald and LSchenn injured. And Colaiacovo has a much better chance of been with the Flyers organization next season than Lauridsen.
Hagg and Alt really haven't had good enough season in the AHL to be called up except in an emergency. |

GM's get fired all the time and it's almost always the caretaker who did it. |

Was 24 chosen specifically instead of 25 to cut out Voracek's 76 points? |

I'll give you Lauridsen. Still, unless there is a reason that does not allow them to do it, I'd rather have one of Alt/Hagg playing over Coliacovo. It's not exactly like our defense overall has been good at the NHL level, and I'd rather they let a few guys who may one day be in the lineup get a taste over a guy who, in almost all cases, won't be back next year. |

Alt seems like he's been battling and coming back from injuries all year.
Hagg, from reports, reads like he needs more time in Terry Murray Finishing School for Defensemen. |

Well the Islanders, Stars, and Blues certainly get bumps by having guys in the top 10 in scoring. |

I was gonna say on weed consumption
EDIT:
Looked up original tweet from Mirtle, he says it's sorted by a combination of points and ice time |

I was trying to think of a comparison. The McSorely/Simon attacks happened in the heat of the moment, so did the Boulerice incidents (plural). The only comparable thing that I can think of was the Domi sucker punch on Ulfie, but I don't think that even works. |

That's a good point. That jumps us up to the top half automatically. (not counting every other teams players that are 25)
