Random thought and looking way too far ahead but IF the rangers make it back to the SCF I really hope they don't put the patch on their shoulder again. thought that looked like shyt lol
- mrn22

I think they should pick up the trophy this time.

Messier did it and it worked out fine

You stumped me this time...not sure who

2003 was one of the deepest drafts in NHL history....any pick in the top 30 would have been a GOOD nhl player...except Jessiman... I think there were like 4 players out of 30 that didn't pan out...not to mention guys like Ryan Getzlaf, Dustin Brown, Seabrook, Burns, Zach Parise, Kesler, Mike Richards, Corey Perry, etc... ALL going after Jessiman...

this mock 2003 draft had Jessiman ahead of Carter, Seabrook, Kesler, Richards...

look at Kevin Klein making an appearance

Lol, at least this mock draft was a little more reasonable. Sather took a risk because he wanted Jessiman's power forward size, and Jessiman was suppose to be a really great prospect. But going in the 20's is more reasonable than picking him 13 ahead of guys like Parise, Getzlaf, Perry, etc...

I remember the draft very well as it was happening and everybody was very positive about drafting Jessiman at the time, though most won't admit it.

To really be fair, his ankle injury at Dartmouth after he was drafted really sabotaged his career.

I feel like the lack of news about Skjei probably indicates they are having a tough time getting him to leave school and he probably wants to go back for senior year. I could be wrong. But, I thought he'd have signed by now.

Skjei college teammate:

#NHL agent Pat Brisson, serving as family advisor for Mike Reilly, says "nothing to report." This is most likely not good news for #CBJ.

If Reilly knew he was leaving UofM, and wanted to sign w #CBJ, he could have been signed and in the lineup as early as tonight vs. #NJDevils

Great so they're all probably planning to stay together another year. Then next year comes and he pulls a Hayes and signs somewhere else. jeez I sound like Vin but I could see that happening

worst comes to worst. We would get a 2017 2nd rounder as compensation if that happened

Yandle isn't signed long term yet and Boyle will be off the books after next season. If he comes in and plays well in hartford he will be that 6th dmen regardless if he is a righty or a lefty

But the fact is he's to slow to keep up in the league.

- tomburton99

Sorry but that is complete nonsense, how many wolfpack games did you see? How closely have you followed him this season? or you'll keep referencing the blues games when he was paired with Kostaka? Calling it a fact is complete nonsense.

The team is stacked on D so there was no need to have him play with the big team, he's been the top pairing guy in Hartford and excelled there, especially since December. I repeat, he's been solid. All indications and reports I've read, including actually catching a few games are contrary to your statement.
