Don't look now but Toronto is looking good to win their 2nd game in a row. I don't think tomorrow's game is a slam dunk for the Sabres. First game back from a west coast trip is always tough.

The Sabres are now apparently motivated as per TBN article today to win out the rest of their games to A.) stay out of #30
B.) subtly it was insinuated that fans rooting against them against the Coyotes has lit a fire under them.
So there ya go, they are motivated now to achieve something and screw us

Damn kids should have thought of that 70 games ago.

If it takes that to motivate them, then that's a damn shame.

Yeah, and many won't be with the Sabres or even in the NHL next year. It will be a hit and run if they succeed. But, we'll have to wait until they play the games.

They still can't score goals. Hopefully Meszaro's luck runs out.

Hey folks.. figured I'd share some Bills related info from a friend in upper management.
Nothing too surprising, but the info this time around has to do with why Saint Doug Marrone really left.
He went on to call him a "douchebag" and "the lowest of low" type of people, a "real bumhole." Marrone tried to reign control of the team where it was clearly in Whaley's hands. As of now a lot of this news has basically already been speculative. I guess no one really had any respect for him, players or management, because of his just general poopty personality.
So basically, they downplayed the tension between Marrone and management. What it really came down to was, upper management asking Marrone to step down and to not accept the contract extension option. So in the following days at some point, he left without a word and had his secretary send out a parting message for him AFTER the news had already hit twitter.
So there you have it. If any of you guys have an specific questions you'd like to know, I'll see what I can find out for you. He also mentioned Incognito is on a very short leash, but that's hardly inside info.
WOW....Toronto just Beat the Lightning! Like anyone on here can predict anything these teams do from night to night......Just stop trying to figure everything out and let the games play out. Wish I had a dollar for every time over the past 2 months when we were told the Yotes wouldn't gain another point!
We are not a good team, we will see tomorrow night. Eckman Larson hit the post while the yotes were down by 2-1 late in the third, am I to believe he aimed for it? Come on, we have a 4 pt lead, we have the tie-breakers, and if the positions were reversed I'm sure most of the negative nanny's would have already written them off! I'm not saying we have it in the bag, I'm saying we have a bad team, with AHL players trying hard, but we are still bad. Teams will play to beat us and don't doubt it. I didn't see anybody here saying Mez was going to score as many goals as Tyler "Superman" Myers, but he has, so lets stop pretending we know what will happen. I hoped for a split in the head-head contests with the yotes, we got it, I cheered for Colorado to outscore us, they did and most of their shots were gained while they were up by 4 goals. I want Echel, I would Love McDavid and so would 28 other teams, who will not pack it up and leave the NHL if they don't get one. Over the past 10 years, Ovi and Crosby have been the BEST players out there and were picked as NUMBER #1 can't miss generational players, they haven't disappointed but in those 10 years, and 2 teams = 1 Cup! So please, spare me with this gloom and doom, if we only end up with (Zemgus Girgensens 1st(14th) Ristolinen1st(8th), Reinhart1st(2nd), Evander Kane 1st(4th), Zadorov1st(16th), , Bogosian 1st(3rd) Tyler Ennis 1st(26th)Mark Pysk 1st(23rd) Grigerenko 1st(12th) Cody Hodgson 1st (10th), Strome/Marner/Hanafin 1st(3rd-4th) 1st Round 2015 2nd Pick!
That's 12 1st Round picks playing on the squad next year or soon after!
Plus + J.T. Compher, Nick Baptiste, Conner Hurley, Justin Bailey, Johan Larsson
Plus + Grit Muscle Players, Marcus Foligno, Hudson Fasching, Nickolas Deslauriers
lol we motivated a terrible team? We finally in 70 games outplayed a team and won. I don't see us doing that again this season. Those of you freaking out need to R-E-L-A-X.
Arizona will win at least one game. Possibly 2. We will win 2 games at most.

That should be enough to totally confuse both teams.
He's a good player. There's no doubt. I think the reason I used to get frustrated is because he could take over a game when he really wanted to. He just very rarely seemed interested enough to do it. - HonkFortheGoose
Sekera was the same way IMO but never got the hype Myers got
Buffalo against Toronto the home team has won the last ten meetings. We win that game were 2 points back. We also play Columbus, Carolina, Chicago. NY Iles and Pittsburgh
Columbus and Carolina are winnable regardless or at least getting a point out of. Chicago you'd expect to be a loss but they are playing terribly. Pittsburgh will be the final game of the year and I'd bet guys like Crosby and Malkin wont play..
Arizona plays San Jose twice Calgary, Vancouver and Anaheim. Their combined record against those teams is 6 - 10 which isn't horrible but most of those wins came early on. If we can come up with no points against Toronto and Carolina I'll feel much better but its asking a lot. - bluengold12
you worry too much
that was their first regulation win in over a month
