Same here. If i had to bet money, i would put it on the sabres finishing last. I think we actually need 5 points, correct? Because Arizona wins the tie breaker with more regulation wins?
So, in 6 games we have to earn 5 points and hope the coyotes earn none. Not out of the question, but i dont like the odds.

You know me Cab, I'm always honest no matter who may like it, no matter what the situation. (it's an excellent trait from my Pops)

And honestly, just because of the way that Murray went about this, the entire manner of which he was so boldly laughing in the face of the NHL pretty much this entire season, I hope we finish out of 30th place.

I now want Murray to have to build me a winner without being able to take the lazy/easy way. (McDavid/Eichel route)

If we attain one of those two players, that'd be great, if not, I will certainly be fine with that too just because of my disdain for Murray.
For me, it's all in the way he has openly gone about this, nothing more.
Not even Chicago or Pittsburgh were this blatant of their intentions.

So my point?
My point is let other NHL fans know that not all Sabres fans were on board with this.

All teams rebuild. Why are the Sabres not allowed to. Tank is the absolute wrong word for what Murray has done. He flushed the team of nearly every old asset of DR and is rebuilding a new identity. You can't gut a team without have a time to recover.

If you are not onboard with rebuilding a poopty team then please wear your Satan Jersey and wax poetic about how we used to be better than average all those years ago and keep complaining about Drury and Briere.

It doesn't make sense what so ever. Murray isn't "laughing" at the NHL. The NHL allows teams to rebuild through the draft. Murray is not going through any loopholes. He's gotten rid of players not a part of the future. He's done nothing wrong and he's only had the best interest of the team in mind.

I really don't get your stance Hat. Just because you personally dislike the guy, he can't do anything right. It's ridiculous.

Every season there is a 30th place team. We are it this season. And saying the hawks and pens weren't this blantant? You just weren't as close to there teams as you are to the Sabres. Again, there has always been a 30th place team. This is how it happens.
