Agree. I joined the waiting list once we hit 8 points down thinking I wanted to be in ASAP in case we get McEichel. Not only would I have a good ticket but they would also be great in the resale market to make money. If I was a current holder and had to pay for this poop the last 2 years to NOT get a generational talent I would feel flat out robbed. Plus they raised prices doing it. They CAN still land McEichel, but if they don't, it will be another brick in the wall of what has been an embarrassing ownership stint by Pegula.

Things I've learned from this board since tonight's game ended: (1) If Buffalo doesn't finish 30th there's no scenario that would allow them to draft either McDavid or Eichel; (2) Buffalo is guaranteed to pick up 3 points in its remaining games to pass Arizona in the standings; (3) Arizona is guaranteed to pick up no points in their remaining games as Buffalo passes them in the standings.

R-E-L-A-X, people. The Sabres still suck. The Sabres still control their own destiny. It's still more likely that the Sabres finish 30th than 29th. Their grip on 30th may be a little more tenuous now, but it's still too early to panic.

I've had seasons since the lockout. had to drop from my 4 seats in a row to 2 this year. Took a bath attempting to sell them last and this year for season ticket price. We even tried to donate 4 tickets at my wife's work last year at a Chinese auction to benefit a needy family and they got zero,ZERO bids!!! They gave the tickets back. No one wanted 4 tickets for even a dollar. That is why I'm so mad. Them not getting mcheichel hurts my wallet

Can't really say yes or no either way. The one thing i do know without a doubt is that having one of those two definitely gives them a better chance and more importantly gets them there a lot faster. Probably easier to build a contender around one of them as well.

It undermines my confidence that they can take the 3rd best player and turn in into a cup team just based on history. They need ALL the help they can get.

What I am kind of mad about is that this year, it has been a plan all along to TANK, and now with a few games left to finally drive this puppy home, these players are ruining it for us. Sad part is that lots of them won't even be on this team, and, perhaps Nolan is gone as well.
