Marner is just so slick offensively. I think Crouse has the build to dominate in a very short time.

Crouse is an interesting player, but someone I'd avoid like the plague at the draft. It's either Marner or Strome for me.. but Strome looks like a higher powered Reinhart. Marner could turn into that dazzling winger in the mold of Patty Kane. I trust Murray, but God help us if he thinks Crouse will be the answer. We need 1st line offense, and that is something he will not be.

I could see Crouse as a 2nd/3rd liner that's REALLY hard to play against. He's gonna dominate people down low, along the boards, etc.

Have we lost a few this morning? I would think after last night there have to be 1 or 2 at least that made the jump.

So let’s not forget who predicted the Sabres would “win out” with 7 games to go. I hope I am wrong, terribly wrong.

Now for all of those who seem to think the Sabres would be just fine without Eichel or McDavid……. I hear you talk about all of that wonderful “potential” the Sabres have lined up just waiting to get to the big club….. Well what short memories people have… Remember how you all talked about all of that great “potential” the Sabres had with the last “core” group? Well I ask you now… Where did that get them? Right here in last place…. Even way back then I was saying that “potential” gets you no where…. I know the 2 prizes in this years draft present “potential” too but their chances of NHL success are 10 times the chances of any Sabre prospect……. Failing to finish 30th this season will put the Sabres rebuild back by at least 3 years folks…..

The only think that bothers me is the players throwing it back in the fans faces about the cheering on the AZ goal.

They can go out and compete all they want. but the whole idea as they are using it as motivation to win to "Stick it to the fans" is going to create a lot of problems in the future if they do wind up 29th.

We all knew we'd beat the Leafs last night. That's 10/11 wins at home vs them. It's a given. A onstant. But winning out? I'll give you the ol' I'll come to your house, boil my shoe and eat it on your front porch.

I agree with you. There's no way I'm trading up to pick him. Marner would HAVE to be the guy. Crouse is intriguing but I'm not taking him top 8, maybe 9.
