In the last couple months, Arizona has had losing streaks of 8 games and 10 games, so it's not too far-fetched that the end the season with another 7 in a row

If you start at the last AZ game and break the schedule into 6 game segments the amount of points the Sabres have gotten:



1st segment - 3 points
2nd segment - 4 points
3rd segment - 5 points
4th segment - 4 points
5th segment - 2 points


only a stretch of Feb 20 - March 3rd would get them in them to 29th without Arizona getting a point.

I want Echel, I would Love McDavid and so would 28 other teams, who will not pack it up and leave the NHL if they don't get one.

I've been saying something pretty similar. Unfortunately we don't know how all those prospects are going to turn out. I think we're still going to be a good team, even if we don't get the 1st or 2nd pick. However, if we do get one of them, we'll probably be a great team. And that's the difference.

It's officially hit rock bottom. That's for sure. I never thought in a million years I'd want to just not go to a game, especially against Chicago. But Kane being hurt takes some of the luster away and this team is just awful. The environment in the arena is also pretty toxic at this point and I just want nothing to do with it.

I agree, I think the main differance is with one of those 2 are as lost to a guarentee as you can, where the other prospects it snot a guarentee. Regardless we will have a very good team.

Ive seen it and understand. We will be a good team in a couple . But I agree with Goosie. We don't get 1 or 2 ,could be the diff between being a great team real soon or not.

Also, that pattern is too smooth to be random. It's counting, not running an algorithm.

I know. He's seriously the only reason I would want to go, and being that I've seen him play plenty (I've been to all the home Chicago games since I've been a season ticket holder) I have no real need to suffer through the crap that has been this season to see him again.

I agree and it's the atmosphere in the arena that is disappointing but my daughter wants to go to one game before the end so I'll probably end up and one of them.
