It's pretty amusing to see that so many people assume finishing last will guarantee getting McDavid. I honestly think Phoenix is going to win the lottery either way.

I think most just want the guarantee of McEichel. One of the two. Finish 2nd to last, have someone like Toronto win McDavid and suddenly you are drafting Strome instead of McEichel. While I'm sure Strome will be a very good player, most just do not think he is as good as McDavid or Eichel.
