He gives up more goals and shots on the PK relative to any other player on the team. The notion that he is good at the PK is proven false by all objective evidence.

At least it's the end of the period so hopefully they'll settle down and focus on hockey.

FWIW, I thought the stick slash was worse than the cross check. I would have switched the call/non-call.

By the way, score or not, Flyers have got to be exhausted, just like an NFL defense being on the field 85% of a game.

Bennett and Chorney look good today. So does most the team but real impressed those 2 putting in good shifts.

Schenn looks good with blood coming down his face.

He's an oversized traffic cone. The ref gets in the way an essentially gives him the puck to clear it and he waits and throws it into a flyers player.

And here I thought the Penguins weren't going to make the playoffs next season.

The Pens look much better, but guess what? It isn't materializing on the scoreboard so it doesn't matter. 22 shots for and only 4 allowed and the game is still tied. Flyers won that 1st period by keeping it tied.

Yeah I thought the cross check was a little weak, but with what went on before of course it was going to be called.

As a coach please tell me how you would distribute the D mins for this game. Scuds isnt useful for offense. So his mins are defensive in nature. Quit complainin just to complain.

You don't win periods... All I want is a consistent effort. If they can play this way an entire game then they should win. Malkin in the lineup makes this team 100X better.

So was despres...letang does too....is a systemic issue. Scuds isnt a puck possession kinda player. DP is good for an awful brain cramp per game too...but he is he next coming so cant say anything bad about him. Christ the only player that was playing exceptional on D for this team was Maata.

Its exhausting and makes us look like tools. We all do it sure. .but some complaints make no sense...wtf u gonna do about scuds...u cant get rid of him...deal with it. The management is sure aware of the issues they wanna deal with....but you just cant do it easily in a cap world.
