Then on Saturday Buffalo plays Pitts, who are struggling bad. There is a chance the could still be fighting for a playoff spot. Buffalo beats them, eliminating them, just like the Steelers did to the Bills in 2004.

Right here. It's still quite easily possible for 2 wins vs non playoff teams and an OT loss against a penguins team that will surely be resting it's stars. I'm not content til it's clinched.

They aren't winning on the road against Columbus. That team would knock out almost every team in the east in a playoff series right now.

It's the biggest moment, possibly in the history of the Sabres, if we finish less than 2 points behind.

That or the Isles lose all 3 and Ottawa wins enough to pass them (as well as Det, Bos, Pitts and Wash) sounds like a lot, but the race is so close, it really is only an extra win or 2 for all of them.

Hopefully this is all over Monday night. Living in the Carolinas, I "need" to cheer for my "home" team, right??

I was one of those fans that said Arizona would lose out. Thankfully I was wrong. My teenage kids tell me that I am wrong all the time. Maybe they're right?

This has been the second most stressful only to the Caynes beating us in game 7 after we were 20 mins from playing the Oilers in the Cup Finals. We would have won the cup that year!

Exactly. In fact, I'll go this far and say that they'd be in the playoffs if it wasn't for the injury trouble they had early in the season. When they were at the bottom of the standings, I was never worried about them because they were better than their record showed. Same goes for Carolina...but I hate them (except for Monday lol), so I'll give them no props
