His inconsistencies were 1 season with the Oilers which is forgivable and 2 games with the Preds he had a .850 but it's 2 games. Name that other goalie...I'll give you a hint he played for the Sabres for a long time...give up? Ryan Miller
Dubnyk really hasn't been inconsistent he is just lighting this season on fire. His save percentage speaks for itself even playing for the Oilers most of his career.

Watching a lot of Oilers games I can tell you Dubynk was very inconsistent. He would make great saves all game long and then the ones he'd let in were just awful. He's stopped doing that in Minny and that's why he is excelling.
Looking at schedules of potential playoff teams, Ottawa is 2 points behind Pittsburgh and they play each other in their next game. Then Ottawa plays the Rangers and Pittsburgh the Islanders. Let's assume Ottawa beats Pittsburgh in regulation and they both lose their next game. They would be tied going into the last game. Ottawa plays Philly and the Sabres play the Pens. How awesome would it be if Buffalo wins (after losing to Carolina or Columbus, of course) and Ottawa gets into the playoffs? I'd love to see us payback the city of Pittsburgh for the Steelers scrubs killing the Bills playoff hopes years ago.
