Curious. Who do you guys want to play? Kings or your rival flames?
- QuickSCF

To be quite honest 'if' we make the playoffs it really isn't going to matter who we play in the Queens or Flames. We can't deal with the Queens size and speed and I think the Flames with their superior hard work and conditioning would wear us down over a 7 game series. Plus you throw in Lack who is stepping into the 'reality zone' now with pretty inconsistent play and a few weak ones per game now even when he is playing half decent. I really appreciate how Lack has played down the stretch but it is really clear now that we can't be down 2-0 in EVERY playoff game in the first 5min if we make it in. We have no choice but to roll with Miller now plus he is the no 1 and that's why he is here.

Hey Boys! How are things? Havent been here in a while, how is Vantel dealing with all this winning and going to the playoffs? Last I checked he was screaming for a scorched earth rebuild, yet you guys seem to be doing just fine.

In general, the people calling for a tanking and all that other scorched earth rebuild shiite seem to have calmed down...

But you never know when they might start up with that again...

A first round sweep by the Kings ought to do it.

Where he's born doesn't mean shiite, since he moved when he was one to Switzerland...

Ethnically he's Italian, but he's Swiss since he grew up in that culture unless Switzerland is the same as Italy, but I kinda doubt it...

Scooby was most likely referring to his looks so in this situation calling him Italian makes sense...

Northern Italy, in the Alps is probably not much different from Switzerland, lifestyle wise. Probably more in common as far as day to day life that with the Romans, anyway.

Yeah there was a time when borders were almost non-existant, and the established borders today have next to nothing to do with where the inhabitants descended from. There is as good a chance that a large amount of Northern Italians came from Germany and Scandinavia as they did Sicily and Rome.
