They have an underground tour at Pikes Market of all the brothels that were below street level? They are not active brothels now I don't think, but it caught the gf and my curiosity. - VANTEL
Actually my GF just mentioned this the other day...we are going to try and take that tour.

Hey all I know I am new to the HB boards this year but I wanted to fire a few questions your way as most of you probably live in the lower mainland or on the Island.
I'm going to be in Seattle for a week Apr 20-24 to hit some Mariner games any recommendations for great restaurants in Seattle? Diners and Drive types? Also going to be in Victoria for three days Apr 27-29 how about the best places to eat in Victoria? Figure this would be the place to ask. Thanks to any or all suggestions. - LordHumungous
Tom Douglas has a stable of great joints, I just had an awesome dinner at The Palace Kitchen, it's on 7th Ave I think, under the monorail. Wild Ginger is one of those places that was an institution, then moved to a larger space and kind of lost something, but I have had two very good dinners there. There is also a Spanish place a short cab ride from town called The Harvest Vine which is excellent. I also had a great breakfast at a place in Capitol Hill called Americana. |

I liked the fact and advocated bringing Sutter here...really like his game and what he brings.
Plus I have a first hand chance to see his work ethic here in the summer CAN PRO camps in Red Deer. He has what it takes.

IMO I have never seen a Sutter that hasn't helped an NHL team.

The Celts went as far south as northern Italy. Rome was at war with these tribes. The Cultural difference was huge north to south. - boonerbuck
Too late for the party....what was once an interesting conversation has grown tiresome with your little snippets of knowledge. |

What was your initial reaction to him being signed in the summer? - boonerbuck
I loved the signing. Went over this a few days ago after someone posted the thread from the day of the signing. |

I really liked it as well. In the 3/4 of decade that Gillis was the GM,,, the best he could do for our top 6 addition was Booth. Benning adds a legit producer in just weeks after being signed...lol.
