You can't help but feel the pain of Buffalo fans (and not just in hockey ). I'd rather see them pick up McDavid than either of Edmonton, Arizona, or Toronto.

I've read, however, that there is supposed to be a slight change to the drafting format (not quite sure if it's confirmed or if this is just a proposal at this time). But I've read that a team would only be able to have the first pick only ONCE in five years (hence, Edmonton would not have had their last top number 1 picks)

I hear ya and agree. But I have to give him credit for allowing himself to be butchered in terms of both his career and personal life. Took some guts. Oh, he also had a bit of a mea culpa at the end, professing how he was sorry for some of the things he's done etc etc and wanting to show the world that he wants to get back on track musically etc. It was kind of a weird moment, but the roast was awesome! man, those guys/gals don't hold back on anything
