I doubt he's going to do it often all of a sudden but it's a good sign that he's driving the net a but more. The Sedins are brilliant hockey players, there's a reason why they keep putting up points despite not being the fastest, toughest or most fancy puck handlers in the league. I'm sure Henrik was aware after last year than Daniel's goal-scoring has dropped off so it's not surprising that he's more willing to drive to the net once in awhile now making other things to keep their scoring up.

Tonight is big game for him, let's see if he can brush off a bad game and play well in basically a playoff-type game.

It's a great chance for him and management to see how he performs

He is what he is, a 4/5 PP specialist. Some lucky team will pay him $5 million per for that.


The TOR stat guy also rewards "hits" like it's candy on halloween. Franson is even that physical but people saw his hit totals with Toronto and thought he was a big, physical offensive d-man. With Nashville his hit totals are back to where they should be. Franson is soft as hell for his size and horrible defensively.

Canucks can't beat LA playing straight up 5 on 5. They need to piss them off and antagonize them.

One of the best things of late Hank has been running into goalies. No one expects it , and he doesn't have a rep of doing so. Throw Quick off his game against a team he doesn't expect it from.

Canucks , if they put their energy tonight and go all out , piss off the Kings , play dirty even , can throw the Kings off just enough to maybe miss the playoffs.

I've seen that before plenty of times, but I just noticed how close he was to scoring. Timmy was lucky he got a toe on that.

I'm nervous but cautiously optimistic about tonight's game.
