Brian Boucher - Tomahawk
Right. How long would Brian, who for what I have seen a little bit of, last on a national broadcast stage?
He would be labeled boring because he doesn't fit the mold of morons like Mike and JR. I don't even blame those guys all that much. I am sure they aren't complete bumholes in person. The mandate is to draw in viewers, and being controversial seems to be the best way.
On par with the norm. With that new World Cup, constant rule changes, predictable lockouts and piss poor consistency in officiating NHL is kind of a laughing stock when compared to other major leagues. Just a nutter's thoughts.

You are correct, but it is sad
There once was a time in this world where intellect and credible positions were valued

Meh. Its why I get my Flyers news from a guy like Meltzer. I rarely if ever read anyone else unless a link is posted on this board. Used to check out TSN more but their new format is trash, as well as the articles moving toward the prototypical over-dramatic/controversial norm.

Which goes hand in hand with posters like 2real and MJL. Not trying to get overly personal here but do you think for a second a guy like EK doesn't love having these kind of guys around?
Sure they may get a spank once in a while but it draws hits to his site. Controversy.
The amount of "trade rumors" have died down this year but are replaced with blogs aiming to draw in a reaction from the crowd.
/rant over for today. Good day and good hockey hooligans.
Never underestimate the value of saying stupid things very loudly, with self-assurance.

You just described cable news, led by Fox. The level of ignorance being broadcast on TV channels is just (frank)ing amazing, in a really sad (frank)ing way.

That was an entertaining blog Bill...nice work. I have watched a majority of the Flyers games that don't overlap with Rangers games this year. Mason is by far the least of the Flyers issues. He has been rock solid

You guys have a good core with Giroux, Voro, Simmonds, Coots and plenty of defensive prospects, Sanheim, Morin, Hagg and Ghost will make you a much better team ssooner than later
I ran into some unknown guy in the mall the other day. I was wearing a Flyers shirt and him a Notre Dame shirt...He started a conversation with me with the jist that he wasnt convinced Mace was a good enough goalie...I laughed and told him, Mace wasnt the problem. He looked "stupidified"......
