I've got a soft spot for them too...but I agree with you on the Jays - (frank) the Jays they're like 4300 Kms away from the left coast. Canadian my ass, might as well cheer for the mighty Leafs too, they're Canadian and an original six team with 8000 Cups.

Sedins pull that play all the time except this time Dank was waiting around the hash marks... Quick had no idea where the puck was at since Hank was cutting behind the net and even if Quick expected the back pass he had no idea it would be so far out and that Dank would rifle it in like that... Glad the Sedins can turn a new trick... every1 and their dog expects the old ones nowadays.

This whole thing about the Blue Jays being Canadian is biggest crock of sh!t I've ever seen. You know what's Canadian, an Olympic hockey team made up of solely Canadians...now that I can get behind! The Blue Jays have one Canadian two Americans and 28 guys from Latin America...WTF???

For someone who travels a lot to the USA, their society and ours are much more similar than they are different, that's why I don't get the love for something so far away. Cheer local!!!

When I was a kid , way way back when , i went to Boston to see the Yanks , Marris and Mantle hit homers. Mantles landed three seats in front of me.

My grandfather raised me on baseball. Watching the jays at his joint every sunday as a child. He took me down to the king dome and briefly Safeco field before he passed.

Blue jays are in my blood.

And what I saw yesterday was fantastic. I think Russell martin is going to have a tremendous impact on that team.
