Last nine games .906 Sv% - very average. Professional sports is about what have you done for me lately.

And yet I seem to remember people saying Miller was better because of his past results instead of his more recent stats.

Lack has struggled recently for sure and needs to clean it up, the team D has been pisspoor as well. All season long depth scoring have kept this team in it and that is the teams identity now. I would argue that Lack has been better than Miller but neither have been the reason this team is where it is at, and the D certainly hasn't been good enough.

As long as it is not SBisa or Matthias we will be ok

The way Vrbata has been playing I think the Comets could win as long as he was on the roster.

I figured a trip wire he forgot about around his Cabin or he didn't catch enough food to feed his Rottweiler.

You win and lose as a team!

The bottom line is, there is no tomorrow when these three games are up; whoever's in net needs to stop the puck and all the forwards & defense needs to step up!!! They're in control of their own destiny...

They could probably get the first overall for Kessel and Phaneuf though

So the Kings are apparently pissed about the Canucks getting to Quick last game and "talked about it" heading into tonight's game.

I've long said that goalie interference is always worth it. Refs screw up calls all the time in the crease and it is worth it to throw off the goalie/Defense.

Sounds like they're gonna take a run at Lack and probably take care of any Canuck who goes to the net.

Fine by me. If they miss the playoffs because of goalie interference doesn't matter to me, if they don't make it this year there will be changes and finally they will be vulnerable.

Kings just take a lot of penalties all game long knowing the refs will only call so many, the boston model. The Jets do the same, and I'm not talking about hits but clutch, grab, interference, try to slow the game down and smother teams.

That is true for this year...it can't continue as a regularity though.

Yup. I've said this before as well, it's pretty smart if you have the team built for it. And takes advantage of the NHL changing the rules in the playoffs and in playoff-like regular season games.

Ya I wouldn't hold your breath about the NHL fixing the Goalie interference, it will always be called inconstantly because the refs have to make a judgement call.

Did the D hit him in? Did the goalie sell it? Did the contact actually prevent the goalie from making a save?

I think more and more you see Dmen hitting the forward into their own goalie.....Sbisa is king of this and it drives me nuts. I watched one last night in the Leaf-Sens game and Bernier was lucky not to be seriously hurt and it was all his teammates fault.
