You do realize Crosby is more of a sure thing than Zad, Reinhart(who i expect to be good) and 3 first round picks.

This is the bigger issue IMO. 13/14 players for a guy that is a Jamie Macoun elbow away from green jello day.

Crosby is 28. Its not like he is over the hill. this squad with the right players gets you there now.

yes but not every player has a strong history of concussions.. once you have them it seems to be easier to get the second and third.. at this point i would think if he got another he might just retire so that he doesn't get Alzheimers at 40

I just don't get how I'm told to "do math" because Crosby's ppg is slightly higher than Kane's now, after the season is over, when at the time of Kane's injury, Crosby was far behind Kane in ppg and total points

Your argument was "Kane would have beat him by a landslide", yet his PPG are lower. That is math. Predicting that he would have torn it up even more is just guessing.

Kane has beaten Crosby's current year P/Game pace only once in his career, and that was in the shortened season.

Crosby has only played 50 games more than Kane in their careers and he scores at a 1.36 pts/game pace. Kane is just shy of 1/game.

All of this coming from a guy (me) who loves Kane and hates Crosby
