Kootenay down 6-2 with under five to go. Safe to say this is Reinhart's final junior contest. |

That's disappointing. Was hoping to see a long run from them. Would've been cool to see him vs McDavid for the championship |

We will need them too. Pittsburgh could be eliminated from playoffs and show nothing. We got our win from Arizona the other night. I'm not expecting them to give us another. So stressful, I just want to 100% say we are getting mcheichel. Until we can I'm gonna be worried - Fattony1187
Here's to hoping the Penguins miss the playoffs and win the draft lottery. |

Sabres win; Wisconsin loses; and Saul finale disappoints. Tough night in my house. So much "might have been." |

Sabres 3 Blue Jackets 4 (OT)
Sabres 3 Penguins 2
*Buffalo claims 3 out of 4 remaining points
*Arizona claims 0 out of 6 remaining points.
Sabres win the 29th Place Chanpionship and Ted Nolan sets a good example of sportsmanship for children and imbeciles worldwide. |

I don't know Junior hockey, and maybe they cross over...but those 2 play in different leagues entirely. |

Good article....may I offer some advice and observations about what I like about the Sabres rebuild?
Things I like:
1. Started with Defense. They take longer to develop, and you have 2 really good pieces at the perfect age to set pace for Reinhart and MsEichel. Bad Example: Oilers
2.Maximized returns for veteran players in the form of 1st round picks.Bad example: Oilers
3.Aside from the defenders I mentioned, you have a good number of young talent to ride Shotgun with your 2 future franchise Centers. Bad example: Oilers
4. Added veterans to lead. Your not paying Moulson, Georges and Gionta to produce.Bad Example: Oilers
5. Addeed high end talent to help score...and win!Bad Example: Oilers.
Advice:
1. Add more veterans to help produce. The more time you allow McEichel and Reinhart to become your star players the better off you'll be. Bad example:Oilers
2. Get a Veteran Goalie. Nothing more deflating to a young team that plays well but cant get a save.Bad Example: Oilers
3.Draft lots of goalies. A couple Jr's, a couple Echl players, a couple AHL'ers....the more the merrier.....and give them time.Bad example: Oilers
4.Figure out the team identity and preach it at all 3 Pro levels. Make it your culture.
5.Be wary of trading your young Character guys like Foligno....these guys are so-so important.Oilers missed Horcoff more than most fans will admit.
Jusy my 2 cents. You guys are in great shape, try to win, I get it, but don't rush the kids, it will come.

Good post...Oil playing better now though...next year with Klef, Nurse and Hanifin....could be a very exciting Defense to go with all that young Offense.
Get a good goaltending coach, (see Irbe) to do wonders with average Goaltenders....and play a defensive responsible system....there's 25 more points

Nice post. Give some advice to Ted Nolan to close this thing out.
I think Murray will be targeting a few more vets this offseason. And I believe we've drafted a goalie every year for a while now. Still haven't found that true starter yet but we've got a couple guys who seem to have the potential. Ullmark, Petersen.

nice post
I think Jagr would be perfect up front, put him on one line and Kane on the other
A point scoring D man is needed (Green)
Maybe a stay at home D man, although Weber has been ok this season
And keep the freaking goalie coach at all cost |
