Just had to say I saw your comment about Greg Giraldo and him doing all the roasts (which I've seen). He was one of the funniest comedians out there and especially his stuff on the roasts. It's a shame he died so young (and I believe it was *surprise surprise* an overdose) - Zogg
Giraldo was great on those roasts. Epic I'd say.
I'm in for the pool. |

I'm not even going to bother watching the Canucks-Coyote game on Thursday, I'm going to be glued to the Calgary-LA game, if Calgary wins (either in regulation or OT/SO), LA is eliminated. That's going to be THE game of the season right there. I also stand by what I said yesterday, I still don't think we make it out of the first round this year no matter if we play Calgary or LA, but it'll be a competitive series never the less. Also, Markstrom or Miller should play the last game of the season (depending if Miller is ready to go) so that Lack is rested up for game #1 of the playoffs which supposedly should start next Wednesday (provided Vancouver keeps home ice) |

It's hard to imagine LA getting in at all now. If LA beat CGY in regulation they would still be on the outside on the ROW tiebreak. LA would basically have to win both remaining games with either CGY or WPG getting no more than 1 point from their remaining two games. |

Kings can still catch the Jets. That Flames/Jets game Saturday could be epic, maybe a 3 pointer gets them both in. |

I want the Nux to beat them in the playoffs. Not have them eliminated cuz they didn't make it in. |

I want the Nux to send LA packing in the playoffs to shut up all the scum suckers who doubt the Nux and their ability to win against the California teams. |

The Jets still have two tough games to go...
Edit: flames sched is worse though with a game against the Kings and Jets... if they lose both (with one in reg) and LA wins they are out... |

I agree. If you are going to be a champion you can't avoid certain teams because they are difficult to play against. You are either the best or you are an also-ran. I dislike LA quite a bit and would actually love to see them miss the play-offs; however, I would also like to see Kaptaan's scenario above. |

Not really a statement. No shootouts in the playoffs, which is where you made your bread in this game. LA would take you in a 7-game set. |

By the way, I spoke to Nucker about a possible playoff pool (not sure if we would draft or use a box format) and he said he would be interested. I figured some of the CWH pool might want to check out, as well as anyone else on here who would like to participate. Let Nucker or me know. We could then figure out how many players/format etc (and whether to make it free or have a nominal fee - something that Nucker can afford - he might have to sell his Kesler Kollection lol)
(I'll bump this post later in the evening when everyone is around) - Zogg
I am in. |
