I didn't think they were capable of making the playoff this year, and now that I see the point total, I am astonished this group is pushing up against 100, and that will barely be enough. Great job by the management team in turning this around, and great job by the players showing us they still have something left in the tank.

I was, also, one of those insistent that the Canucks would not make the playoffs. I was wrong. Looking forward to seeing what they can pull of in the post season. Expectations are relatively low but excited none the less.

I'm cautiously optimistic. The thing I like most about this team is the way they bounce back after a loss. This is the kind of mentality you need in the playoffs. Lose a game? It's ok, work harder next game, get the win, take control of the series.

Flames v Canucks will be an awesome, emotional series, with two teams going all out.

Depth & consistency is.

Not really a statement. No shootouts in the playoffs, which is where you made your bread in this game. LA would take you in a 7-game set.

And how do you know that will happen? Plus if you haven't noticed, they're kind of a big/physical team so even if a team beats them in a series, you'll come out roughed up more than a typical series.

Defense and forward depth is what I'd fix first. There's a reason why every goalie's numbers take a huge hit there.

Watching the oilers in the third last night was exibit A why they suck. So many breakdowns, bad passes, guys out of position chasing the puck. It was shocking how bad they were.

I just heard that they aren't jacking up the prices for playoff tickets. It has been an excellent season for the entire organization, including ownership. You can argue that they have just been fixing their own mistakes, which is probably true, but at least they're doing it. Lots of owners haven't.
