I was telling someone the other day, if we draw LA in the 1st round, I'm out. Can't (nor do I want to) watch us disintegrate one more time at the hands of the Kings. After last night, I'm not totally convinced that would happen. I'm not sure we could beat them, but it wouldn't be a sweep.

Keep in mind if last night were a playoff game we'd have continued in OT, and there's no saying who might have won it. I'm sure we wouldn't win a best of seven series against LA, but agreed that we'd probably win at least 1, perhaps 2.

Agreed, I guess no one want's to set themselves up for disappointment. Just to be on the safe side I would rather they miss the postseason!

Per a twitter post, The Canucks would clinch a playoff today if any of the following occurred:

1) Kings lose in regulation
2) Kings lose in OT or SO and CGY lose in regulation
3) Kings lose in OT or SO and CGY lose in regulation or OT and the Jets lose in regulation
4) Both CGY and WPG lose in regulation

Considering that LA are playing EDM and CGY are playing ARI I'm not holding my breath.

We have won the last 2 against LA but didn't they lose the 3 before that to them this season. I think that if it came down to winning in overtime, LA has it. I don't know what would happen in a VAN vs LA series. All I know is if it happens then the team should show it's backbone and win the series.

Lol I doubt opposing fans are too happy when the Sedins score against them. I do get what you're throwing out, they would have to score standing on their heads for it to be something special anymore.

Every article I've read today has gone on at length about Henrik's pass (it was a beauty) ... but what about Daniel's shot?!?

The shot was more spectacular than the pass IMHO. Could he even see the top corner when he shot it?

I remember that one well - Ovechkin was looking like he could have taken the Art Ross but he got blanked in his game that day and Sedin walked away with 4 points.
