For some eason, NBC thinks they have to have their version of Don Cherry. Although, i'd willingly listen to Don Cherry any day. milbury just comes off as a buffoon.

I don't like Cherry either. At least he only gets a couple 5min segments though. Milbury does the entire intermission, plus the pregame and postgame... Ugh, he sucks so bad!

My opinion would be to not buy in to a "has been" leader, but look for a budding one. And we already have one of them in Girgensons.

I do agree on Girgensons, but he's not ready yet.
And wouldn't it be helpful to have a guy like Brown around for a couple years for him to look up to until he is ready?

For those of you on the Dustin Brown bus, if you can even put aside his asinine contract that has a cap hit of $5.875M through 2021-2022, look at his production and ask yourself what is the value in terms of dollars for intangibles.

Everybody always talks about that, and while I am more of a what do you produce guy, I do understand the value of the little things players do, but in Brown's case, his bloated and crazy contract isn't worth trading for when it comes to what he gives you on the ice, and more importantly, what he will give you going forward.

He sure cashed in at the right time.

I think BU's most important player tonight is going to be Matt O'Connor. North Dakota is always a powerhouse. If BU doesn't get spectacular goaltending they have no chance.
