I think fans who support their team have every right to question team mgmt decisions regardless of their expertise.
That's part of the fun of being so passionate about the team.

I may end up eating my words in the future but whats the point of having opinions if you don't express them.

- belcherbd

No different than politics. You follow it and you're passionate about it you have every right to question it. Nobody always agrees on every issue. Thats the beauty of it. Just because we aren't directly involved doesn't mean we are idiots nor have a previous background with it.

The sens just got one step closer, will be a real shot to the nuts if those leaf losses end up costing them the playoffs.

If Boston/LA miss hopefully the NHL goes back to celebrating skill and speed over clutch and grab.

Nucker's part time job is handling lumber, Kesler's right hand is a hobby.
- A_SteamingLombardi

So you're saying his job and his hobby are the same? That's the dream

I think it's difficult to compare Dorsett's salary to those that were signed two plus years ago. Every season the market changes and it's usually in the players favour. The cost for players escalates like everything else.

Folks need to start comparing contracts signed in the same calendar year. Late season contracts like Dorsett’s can be compared to new contracts signed during the free agent frenzy, over the summer, and at the start of the 2015-2016 season.

Too early to say that these deals are high. Let’s see how the summer shakes out.

Well said bloated, it's amazing there are so many over qualified posters second guessing who deserves what salary.

Canucks PK is 2nd best in the NHL.... pretty sure Sbisa is a big part of that and Dorsett helps out a bit as well.

I like the two signings!

You're a big fan, S?

I have to say, for me, once the hockey season ends, it is a hard withdrawal and unfortunately none of the summer sports do it for me (that said, I've gone to a few Whitecaps games and I confess they were very entertaining, so I'll probably go to see some. Still, just nowhere near as getting my hockey fix ) Anybody have any suggestions? lol

I'm not sure if the NTC allows for being demoted or waived - anyone else know for sure?

Legit question here. Is Wop a considered racial slur or is it a term like Canuck describing a people from a certain region?

Man, the hysteria on here after two decent extensions. I would suggest that Benning might have some clue as to what he is doing.
F*ck me, we just made the playoffs and I come here to find it's like some Real Housewives end of season freak out session!!

Why is it when a man talks dirty to a woman its sexual harassment, and when a woman talks dirty to a man it's $2.99 a minute?

Probably got the strongest (and softest) hands in all of B.C.... wait, is that 5 bucks per hour or is that 5 bucks per 2 by 4" because that would get expensive quick.

I would deem it a slur but then again it doesn't count as racism if the person is white
