Well said bloated, it's amazing there are so many over qualified posters second guessing who deserves what salary. - Makita
Really would like to be a fly on the wall in contract negotiations for any player. Not sure how active players are, maybe some more than others. Would just like to get a sense of the tone and how players and other contracts are compared, I know salary arbitration is worse, it is just beyond me.
I'd walk a block to save a buck, negotiating a contract that was anything close to what an NHL player makes would see me come down with a severe case of ibs... |

Wop or Canuck? - VanHockeyGuy
Wop. Called an Italian friend of mine that for years. Then he took his life. I dont think it was cruel. But I do know every time I hear the word I think of him.
Which I think in the long run probably didnt help his depression. |

Legit question here. Is Wop a considered racial slur or is it a term like Canuck describing a people from a certain region? - thundachunk
Wop is for Southern Italians. |

Don't be hard on yourself. It wasn't done with malicious intent. I'm sure he knew that. |

I was just out for dimsum on the weekend and had some kind of siopao and it had a custard inside, was told after it was made with duck egg. I still don't believe it. Tasted good, like a dessert.
But I say no to Balut and also chickens feet, just can't get rid of the image of all those poor chickens going around in wheel chairs. |

Okay, can we get off the casual racism against races that aren't popularly discriminated against these days (and some that are)?

It's amazing that this food is considered a 'snack delight' for lunch or brunch or what have you. That is probably one of the most disgusting (and possibly illegal lol ) foods I've ever seen. I'm almost sorry you told me about this, Vantel |

I think fans who support their team have every right to question team mgmt decisions regardless of their expertise.
That's part of the fun of being so passionate about the team.
I may end up eating my words in the future but whats the point of having opinions if you don't express them. - belcherbd
You have every right to question the decision, but "IMO" it needs to be tempered.
When posters are adamant that they have better insight into the inner workings of a complex financial structure of what players should be compensated is comical.
As my Cumberlandian friend said..."F*ck me, we just made the playoffs and I come here to find it's like some Real Housewives end of season freak out session!!"

I have heard it is a popular dish at the end of a night of drinking to help with... mind you, I can't picture anyone eating this after a night out. |
