I have no hate for the Flames. The excitement comes from beating teams with players that are hated. L.A. And Hawks fit that bill, and the Rags. Ducks and others to a lesser extent. - kaptaan
i remember a pretty good rivalry between the flames/nucks not too long ago. I think this will be a great series, lots of energy, plenty of goals |

The rivalry required that they got better. And now they have. I'm sure we'll hate them right quick once the puck is dropped. |

So that lottery protected pick DID make some sense for the Kings. Carolina gets Kings 1st Rounder in 2016.
If the Kings win the lottery... |

We just need a point against the Oilers. Come on, we're not the Kings here or something. - micah555
Apparently Miller is starting. |

I still feel the tie-breaker should go to the team with the better record.
If you are still tied after that then it should go to the season series.

Might as well. Need to give Lack a breather before he starts game one.
We know who were playing so give eddie a break while we can. |

Lack played really well last night, he needs a bit of rest because I'd assume he's starting game 1....as he should! |

10 times at least 5 Canadian teams have made playoffs. Last 9 times one of them has made SCF. No pressure tomorrow Ottawa

Flames game at noon sat ...you'll know if you can rest players well before the game - Redmile247
Exactly --- I think the Flames will win out on the weekend but if they do not, you will see a vastly undermanned Canuck roster. Too bad there will not be enough time to call up a few players as you don't really want Miller's only start to be that crazy.

It's funny, you and I, because I think Miller gets the net if he plays well against Edmonton. |

No, Miller is in for Edmonton and then rides the pine but Lack will be on a short leash.

I have been a Miller guy all season but I would start Lack. He has played to well to not play him. |

I like Miller more than Lack, because I believe more in him, but Lack is slowly growing on me as he's suddenly not allowing that weak goal every game. |

I'm not saying "I" would start Miller, but I think WD will start Miller. According to many of you, Miller is the reason that Lack had the opportunity to preserve their position, and I think WD will recognize that and play Miller (on a "short leash"). |

I like Lack, but spotting a team like Calgary an early lead will not be good come playoffs and Lack is prone to early bad goals. To top that off Calgary is deadly in 1 goal games.
I feel we have a better chance with Miller and like 2010 we have a capable backup if Miller falters a little. I just hope WD is not like AV and keeps going back to Miller even after bad games. |

They both played a close number of games. Almost identical numbers.
Miller GP 44 W 28 L 15 OT 1 SV% .913 GAA 2.47 SO 6
Lack GP 41 W 18 L 13 OT 4 SV% .921 GAA 2.45 SO 2

Could be a big deal. I think they are gonna loose a few players to free agency. But then again maybe some rest and new blood could be exactly what the doctor ordered. |

He did his job in some big games. I'm more confident with Miller but even I would roll with Lack in game 1. He earned it. Short leash though. |

Yeah, just saying that John Shannon is stupid for posting something on twitter about LA's 1st round pick in 2016 having significance right now. |
