Noah Hanafin is an amazing Talent. I would prefer STROME but wouldn't complain having a young, elite skating defensemen to round out our D-corps. Would be like having a more talented, higher ceiling Brian Campbell.

Amen! Thanks for bringing up memories of rabbit ears on the TV picking up a staticy channel 9 (I think?) to watch HNIC. Living a block from the lake in Derby it was a bonus to get those extra Canadian stations. I knew the Canadian National anthem as well as ours because of the stations signing off at night.

I still have an antenna on my roof. Getting CBC in HD is clutch during playoff time. Although, it sounds like that is going to be phased out more and more with the Sportsnet TV deal.

See thats the thing. We as Buffalo fans have always accepted 2nd best. We never get the top guy... EVER. Only chance we get that is by drafting 1-2.

Yes we will be a good team in years to come. Buttttt we could be a great team with McDavid and possibly with Eichel. If we end up screwing this up it will be the biggest failure in Buffalo Sabres and maybe even Buffalo sports history. We will be the laughing stock of the league for years. It was obvious to everyone we were tanking. GMTM did almost as much as possible to make this team bad this season. We statistically are one of the worst teams to ever play in the NHL. We NEED the top McEichel for more than just what they bring to the team. Getting one of them is the goal and falling short to that will be a epic generational fail.
