Explaining how Doug Murray was worth two 2nd round picks.
- madmike71

You can't explain that. No one can. Two seconds for a slow, healthy scratch in SJ that management didn't want to resign is unexplainable. One of the worst deals in this franchise's history when you consider it. No, not of Jagr or Naslund level, but ...

I actually thought Lappy has played well these last 2 games

There's literally no way that any of those 5 players sit.

They'll hopefully get Pouliot back, and then I'm not actually sure if they'll go to Dumo or stick with Chorney if Ehrhoff isn't back in time.

Bottom line is that they'll have 6 D.

- hardnosed

Pouliot and Ehrhoff would be game changers. Chorney actually didn't make many mistakes in his limited role. Keep Cole's ice time up in combo with the youngins and it might be enough to win some games.

Lundqvist has been injured a while, hope he's not in peak form yet.

Trim the fat on the bottom lines and go for the throat.

Hey man it's the playoffs, clean slate for all what do you say?

No to Ebbett. He's an AHL player without a specific skill. Similiar situation with Wilson. I call up some combo of Kapanen, Megna, Rust, Sundqvist, Dumoulin, Harrington.
- YouMeAndDupuis9

pass on Megna. Don't see the need for him at all.

Harrington is not ready for playoff hockey. I must be the only one that thinks Chorney has been decent. I don't remember any outright gaffes like I've seen with Lovejoy.
- madmike71

Not ecstatic abut what I saw with Harrington either. He just couldnt handle the speed yet.

I'm sure I will get boiled alive for this, but I want to see the dirtiest, nastiest, most loathsome Penguins playoff team we have ever seen.

If I was HCMJ Lappy would be kneeing McD first shift; hell screw that in the warmups.

Scott Wilson for Crosby's wing?

I'm not sure if I'm serious.

F-ing team still can't play with a lead. They can't stop anyone from tying games up. This s**t is getting old.

the potential 4 or 5 days rest will be huge for us. players potentially get healthy (71, 10, 51). More looks at Kapanen, maybe even Sundqvist gets a game or 2 in with Wilkes...not sure how long thier playoff series will go tho.

The players that I believe can help are Rust, Wilson and Dumoulin. I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see Kappy up here. Was listening to the reporter from WB on the fan today and he says it was only one game, but the kid can play. Very shifty and quick.

They're not going to bring up a guys just to have them sit in the press box - the AHL season doesn't end for another week. Plus at least one playoff series for WBS, so we're talking beginning of May before it would be Black Ace time.

I wouldn't be against trying it at the start of next season. I don't think I'd call Wilson up for these playoffs though

Just speed...he provides more than Adams, probably wouldn't knock anyone else out of the lineup tho

They need to regroup physically and emotionally too. They've got to be spent right now.

Recharge the batteries and lets see what happens in the playoffs.
