Say the Sabres don't win the lottery this year; Do you think GMTM throws a big offer to trade up to get McDavid? I'd overpay for him. If it takes both 1sts this year along with X Roster player or Y Prospects, I say pull the trigger.

I still think we will be picking top ten maybe at 6 or so but this team will be fun to watch IMO

But it would be a huge price. Our 2 firsts this year, Ennis, Zadorov, Reinhart, Girgensons, another 1st maybe. Not all but some combination of.

If there are two teams who I DON'T want winning the lottery, it's Boston and Toronto. Their our rivals. We've suffered enough against Boston as it is and I never want the Leafs to do well. Ever.

Long time between April 11th and October, The team on the ice tonight will look NOTHING like the team that opens the season. The new players will add 10 wins, and having a REAL NHL Coach will add another 5-10 just based upon quality strategy. I say 25-40 additional Pts! Anywhere from 80pts to 95pts.
