Agreed, another scenario I have mentioned before, if Vegas is awarded a team that starts in 16/17, he could be exposed in the expansion draft, and he is still a type of player a team may select at that point because he would only have 2 or 3 yrs left on his deal

I'm not as dialed in to prospects as many here, but I did watch both of BU's games in the Frozen Four and I can't see why anyone would want to sign the goalie.

It's a tough time to pile on, I'm sure, but no thanks.

And thats just the additions without any unexpected moves... Its extremely difficult to predict where this team will finish next year. I will be optimistic and say we add another 2-3 pieces during the offseason that will be on the team starting in the opener. So I'll guess we finish with 80+ points.

Nashville, Winnipeg, Vancouver, and Calgary all missed the playoffs last year and got in this year! I find that incredible lol.

Also Boston won the presidents trophy last season and didn't even make the playoffs . Just two things that I found amusing and awesome

That too! The NHL is crazy lol. But not in a good way. Games are to close and scoring is way down. I want fast paced and high scoring again. The NHL needs to make adjustments

Which is still quite a leap IMO
Even with all this talent coming in, most of it is still very young. We will be inconsistent as these kids learn how to play in the nhl, and it'll prob take a little bit for some chemistry to form

With Miller & some less injuries, I thought they'd have a good chance to take Dallas' spot in the playoffs.

Boston & LA missing the playoffs is a shock to me. (Sharks too)
I thought NYi would still stink & we'd get a top10 pick from them.
I also thought the Flames would compete with us for the bottom.
Good for both of those teams for turning it around quicker than I thought.
