Just got back from Depot. Had to get concrete and fence pickets. top soil, grass seed a 50" umbrella and 5 veggy plants. orange peppers,2 tomato and 2 sweet hablano.
I think that with the change of the 2016 draft lotto we wont seeing many 1st round picks being moved. Could be interesting to see how it turns out if the sabres improve yet still land a top 3 pick - yen6d1
I dont see it changing teams moving first for rentals. Teams making the playoffs still don't have a shot at a top 3 pick.
As we all know, the Coyotes will not claim another point the rest of the season, that being said, the way the Sabres are playing, getting 3 out of the next 8 available points is all but a LOCK. congrats to the 2014-15 Buffalo Sabres for winning the 29th place championship and dooming the franchise to another decade of mediocrity.
I was mostly joking but you never know. Weak FA market and not too much going on the trade block either. A bad bounce here a key injury there and it could be another bottom 5 finish.
The team is still very young, they'll be far more entertaining to watch next year but i expect the season will still be plagued with rookie mistakes/sophomore slumps. - Sabresfan-365
I'm with you on this... They will be better but probably wont draft out of the top 10 next year.
Sure, but Toffoli is a budding star. He'd be potentially shorting himself a lot of money signing a 5-6 year 5.5 mil deal here. He could sign a bridge, score 30 which based on his age and role should do or come close to next year, and in 2 years sign for 7 plus - sbroads24
With the way Sutter coaches that team, meaning the system he has them play, is anybody scoring 30 on that team while he is in charge?

They are over 30 points out from the 10th last team this year. They most certainly will still be a bottom 10 team next year. Will be great cheering for them to win instead of lose though. The NHLs draft change rules may actually help the sabres in the future maybe getting us another top player

Honestly? I'm done cheering for the best pick. I'm gonna end this season cheering for the Sabres to kick ass and set a good vibe going into next season. And then I will cheer for them to win every stinking game .

I think 2016 draft/off season is the time for the big splash. you give these guys 1 more year to see what they can do and you find out who has a future here and who is better used as an asset. Still plenty of unknowns in the system and guys with something to prove.

15 more wins is doable IMO. McEichel, Reinhart (possibly) no Benoit or Mez on the blue line, a healthy Girgensons, and Evander Kane should equal at the very least 10 more wins should be more
I'm stuck in the office today, I'm bored out of my mind. I don't think this will be even close to what we look like next year, I'm just throwing in players already in our system in to see what it might be. As much as I think Kane is a top line winger I'd rather keep him locked in with McEichel and build them together. I don't believe we seen a lot of outside faces coming in, more promotions than anything.
